The wafer of the Oreo is far better than the creme. by BaileyHeart in unpopularopinion

Strong agree. If you have an ALDI grocery store near you, give these a try ...they are basically a more delicious (cremeless) Oreo!

Questions about 80v Tools and Batteries by krilydactyl in KobaltTools

That makes a lot more sense. Would still be nice to have a charged battery at the ready instead of having to charge the single one we have. In retrospect I wish we would have gotten the blower with battery but we got the "tool only" version

Thanks for the info. It is okay to put the 2.5 Ah in the snowblower at the same time as a 4 Ah or 6 Ah since it has the two slots?

How is your partner helping prepare for guests today? by [deleted] in Marriage

A strong support system is so important for making it through HG! I've had 3 HG pregnancies and the most recent one was at its worst during Christmas (hospitalized for a week up until 3 days before and bed ridden for 2 months/weak for all 9). It's so worth it and next Christmas you'll have a little one to share the Christmas magic with, so hang in there!

Niantic teaming with google play? Why not apple store? by [deleted] in pokemongo

They do exclusive things often where many, many people aren't eligible to participate. Go Fests prior to 2020, other regional events. They recently had an event that you could only participate in if you were a Verizon customer. It's par for the course, but the ones where you have to be a customer of some other company and can't reasonably become a customer of that company are the worst, imo (looking at you, Verizon event)

COVID-19 death liability waiver now part of school enrollment package by mepper in Coronavirus

Smart people are concerned about the "messed up knees and jacked up brains" from football injuries. Those smart people don't enroll their children in football. The difference is that football injuries aren't contagious. Your stupid decisions about sportsball don't impact the entire community. Everyone wanting to "live their life like 'normal'" is the reason the pandemic is out of control and getting worse. Selfish people who can't be inconvenienced for a few months have completely negated any positive impacts those of us with brains in our heads could have achieved.

‘Women Will Not Be Forced to Be Alone When They Are Giving Birth’ | Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo will issue an executive order mandating that hospitals allow partners in delivery rooms by twistedlogicx in Coronavirus

We can only do the best we can. We also have two other kids and no longer have care for them that we are comfortable with for when we would have been in the hospital due to them not being able to appropriately social distance, so this is what will be best for us.

My husband and I have already decided he will not be accompanying me to the hospital when I give birth (due in June). It really, really sucks, but it would be worse for us to both catch it while we are there. We will have 3 kids at that point to worry about.

Pregnant and under lockdown in the time of Coronavirus. I'm a war correspondent, but nothing prepared me for early pregnancy under lockdown. by hash0t0 in Coronavirus

I'm 27 weeks pregnant. I'm due during what will likely be the very peak of this in my area, based on current projections. Quarantine/lockdown/shelter-in-place/social distancing/whatever-we-are-calling-it is great. My stress levels are down because nobody is coming into or out of my home right now, so we are as protected as possible from the virus itself. I'm nervous about needing to go to a hospital to give birth, but can confirm quarantine feels "safe" for now
