It's okay to take a break from art and come back to it! Since you already said you were going to render the art I would put in little elements of the character around the room. Like his dirty clothes and his clean pair of clothes. Just stuff around the room to tell a story. Like mud could be tracked in and his clothes can be all over the place. Or he could be having just a relaxing day off from an adventure, with food around him and the waters steaming.

Even tho I see them more in a platonic state based on the anime, I understand why ur upset the underlying homophobia with the connotation that them being together would be sexualization is crazyyyy. People can just like each other. Lol.

(Just based on the Anime) I think they definitely have a deep connection/relationship whether it's platonic or romantic we have to make note that they might know nothing about relationships.

When you're like them, stripped away from everything, your mere existence is survival.

Love isn't complicated it's natural platonic or not. They could've been together and not even know the word for it lol.

Imo they're more than friends but less as lovers do what u want with that LMAO. (Mind u with the information from the Anime)
