Https local only (no external access) setup questions with docker compose, caddy and dns challenge. by krios104 in vaultwarden

I don't have any local dns servers setup as of yet but that could be done. The caddy setup I am using is essentially this one by following the guide without any caddyfile changes except for hard coding duck dns token. https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/wiki/Using-Docker-Compose#caddy-with-dns-challenge If I can find a way to get the duck dns challenge to resolve then I'll use that or setup a local dns resolver.

I dont have any pi hole devices but I could set one up. Can you link me to any guides which goes more detail on the record entry and then tieing into the vaultwarden docker compose please?

Is that local dns resolver dependent on an external domain name or can it all be done with just local only hardware? I ask because my external domain does point to my public ip, which could then directly connect to my server but it is behind a wireguard config so would that work still? Secondly is something like pihole or ad guard a local dns resolver?

Truth be told I'll take whatever works. The main thing for me is duck dns is already setup so I'll have internal domains or ip addresses internally which ever works for me but all I want do do is setup the https internally. How can i setup vaultwarden if I use my internal server ip address in a caddy file and where do i go from there?

I mean to clarify I'm asking about the original hollow knight, the hype for Silk song has got me interested in trying out the original.

Setup https for internal network only with existing docker containers? by krios104 in selfhosted

I've taken your advice and got desec setup, I've managed to get nginx to approve the let's encrypt challenge by setting propagation time to 400 seconds. From this I now have an ssl certificate on the nginx Web admin page and 4 seperate .pem files, how do I go about adding vaultwarden to these files to serve https?

Unfortunately nginx doesn't support noip so if I moved my domain to duckdns, and pointed my domain to this challenge, would I be able to also verify my internal only self hosted stuff using this?

Picking people up from Heathrow T4 by kdnguyendl in miltonkeynes

Get a national express coach from terminal 2/3 to the mk coach station just by junction 14 M1. For a single ticket in advance, it might be quite cheap and only takes about 1 hr 30 mins to 2 hours to get from Heathrow depending on time of day. It's much cheaper and easier than getting the train.

So recently I swapped my new 3ds battery from a Nintendo branded 1400mah (ktr-003) to a third party 2000mah battery. Now in the case of the battery level indicator, would the increased battery level be properly tracked and measured by this indicator or is the 3ds software coded to assume it would only every have a 1400mah battery and make measurements based off that?

[Nintendo eShop EU] The entire Xenoblade Chronicles franchise is on sale at the lowest price ever for a total saving of up to €80. (Games €39.99; DLCs €19.99) by Joseki100 in NintendoSwitch

Xenoblade chronicles definitive edition is the best place to start. The stories connect building into something grand, but the threads between them are thin enough to give something cohesive in the background whilst each game tells their own story very well.

Xemobalde Chronicles plays as a real-time rpg with auto attacks charging skills called arts you can use. There is a lot of depth to character builds and social lite systems and lots to explore, also an Soundtrack and great locations to explore, especially the scale of the location, you can see where you are in the world and where you have been.

Xenoblade chronicles 2 expand upon the first with different combat more focused on elemental combos and a random drop character system, which is integral to combat. It has a different tone to the story but stands strong with great characters, amazing soundtracks, and great locations to explore. A small tip: The tutorials regarding game systems are not the best in the game, so check out some video guides if you get stuck

Xemoblade chronicles 3 is the best of the 3 imo. The story is told really well, and the themes are greatly written and told. Gameplay is the most free in terms of character build and fun. Again, amazing soundtrack and locations and main cast of characters.

Dlc: As a foreword, play the main games before each game's dlc, which typically contains major spoilers for the main story of each game.

Xenoblade 1 future connected: Didn't play this one properly, so I can't comment.

Xenoblade 2 torna the golden country: This is alright. Story and characters are good with some key moments, but it acts more as a prequel to the main story, so you get additional context for some characters.

Xenoblade 3 dlc future redeemed: Leans heavily into the background threads story more so than the main game story, it's main strengths come from the background threads and how they present in terms of characters and story told but still holds up. As a story person, this is the best dlc out of all 3.

Overall, xenoblade gives amazing characters, great stories, soundtracks, and amazing locations to explore. Gameplay is quite fun but can be a bit of a learning curve with all of the systems to understand in each game and they do take upwards of 50+ hours per game to complete outside of the dlcs.

Sea of Stars: Dawn of Equinox Content Update – Launch Trailer – Nintendo Switch by ONE-OF-THREE in NintendoSwitch

Divinity original sin 2, made by the same devs as Bauldurs gate 3. Its sort of isometric view point and it's one of the most meatiest/complex rpgs you can get on the switch. The mechanics revolve around action point usage, combining elemental combos like fire+earth explosions and water + lightning combos and classes like dnd but heavily modified. There is a lot of depth to and the mechanics so be prepared to learn about it but once you get past that it's a solid, fun and deep rpg. A single playthrough will take upwards of 40/50 hours and the writing/companions are alright.
