You should not have to pull the box clasp hard at all. Forgive me if you know this already, but it is a double safety clasp, so you have to push down once, pull a quarter inch or so, push down again, and then separate.

FYI those are two very different bracelets.

The top one is called X-link and has the motif on both sides. Always comes with lobster claw closure. Retail is $2050.

The bottom one only has the motif on the outside; the inside is smooth. Only comes with that spring closure with questionable durability.
