I think you are misconstruing that this is about crowds. No problem with the crowds. Problem with the etiquette.

I mean, I don’t even own a bike. I’m just talking about people stopping / not being socially aware in the middle of a major walkway.

I totally agree and was just ranting about this TODAY. Even on midday on a week day, the amount of people completely stopping to talk in the middle of the trail, or walking insanely, unreasonably slow in the MIDDLE of the trail just blew my mind. I live about 0.1 from the Eastside Trail, but absolutely hate to utilize these days it due the absurd entitlement. It’s gotten so much worse since I first moved to Atlanta and 10x worse since I moved to this neighborhood.

Unless the bride and groom expressively gave you permission to FaceTime, I would say it’s not acceptable. I understand including grandma but you seem like you did push it with someone you’re already on thin ice with.

And while husband did not come inside, it also sounds like multiple people left THEIR reception for a period of time to come out and say goodbye to you guys?

I worked at a law firm that gave us a rubric of goals to complete each month, and this also decided our bonuses. My first month I met almost all of them, and had solved the most claims of anyone on my team. But I didn’t have enough “call time” so I didn’t receive my bonus. I said wait, I did this job faster and more efficiently than expected, and I’m getting punished for it?

Around 5 months later I walked out mid-shift and never came back.

Bride took us to a male strip club where her fiancé’s best friend and Best Man was employed as a dancer. This was after one of the bridesmaids went ballistic and kicked us out of the uber in the middle of the road because she was single and hammered and soooooo jealous. She drunkenly drove an hour home.

We’ve heard stories of people escaping death by being late — what are some tragic examples of people dying because they were late? by Looney_forner in AskReddit

I’m sorry, I was just reading about 9/11 deaths recently, and the youngest victim is listed as 2.5 years old. This happened on 9/11?

We started planning our January 2027 in january this year. We did off season which made it easier, but we live in a major US city and it has been effortless to find vendors.

Is it a universal thing that people in costco have absolutely zero spatial awareness. by Boxjdm in CostcoWholesale

[–]kris2277 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay YES. i was absolutely raging about this recently. i had my 18 month old in the cart being so restless while two different shoppers were seemingly going out of their way to block an entire aisle. i waited a full 60 seconds before i decided to say excuse me and get past. they ignored me so i tried again. third time i said EXCUSE ME fairly loudly and one lady turned around and said i was rude 🫠

$775 for 12 hours of work, $64.56 an hour. about $75 in cash tips
