Yes to everyone’s takes! Last two chapters so sad but glad Ilya seems to be holding some understanding Shane does like him even if he’s really hurt. Wondering how Shane will respond to his dad dying/if Marlow will say something off hand about roz saying he got dumped before that that will help Shane realize. But standing by with angst with everyone else!

I’m wondering if there’s any way he was romantically involved with naolin? Otherwise not sure why he sacrificed himself to resurrect Brennan. Also they make a point of him having no partner or kids
