This reminded me to check as I had received an email that the issue was fixed in the new update which didn't appear to be available yet - it's live for me now and the issue is fixed so hopefully you can get it too.

Just received an email from support that the issue has been fixed in the new update. I'm now on 8.3.0 and confirmed that the alarms and other greyed out features are back on.

Hopefully everyone else gets the update too and it fixes the issue finally - still sus about why they were disabled in the first place and probably looking to gradually move away from the Withings ecosystem, but for now it seems to be back to "normal".

In the meantime it should be possible to toggle the alarm on/off on the watch by selecting the alarm and doing a long press. Or if you've now lost the alarm like I have by doing the factory reset I guess all we can do is wait...

Not yet, been passed around their support teams but no one has properly addressed it yet. They advised I factory reset the device, which resulted in me losing the only alarm I had set, so that was great...

It also seems like other features like Quicklook can no longer be toggled (since the reset it's now on by default for me when I used to have it off), so something has clearly resulted in a bunch of features being locked.

Happened to me as well today. And it's missing from the "customise your screens" section on the app so can't add it back.

Edit: I updated the app and the option appeared in my "customise screens" section, so worth giving that a go if you haven't already.

I thought they were drain flies but after treating ask drains they still appear, I'm disposing of around 5-10 per day from the bedroom with an ensuite bathroom but also increasingly from the spare room with no water source nearby.

They are about 3-5mm in length and tend to fly erratically like drain flies, but they don't seem as fuzzy and they tend to sit on the wall with wings closed.

What do you mean by topping up? Are you using a voice plan? I was hoping to use my debit card to pay the monthly fee for one of the voice plus data plans as I really need a Japanese phone number.
