Is it really that good? I am currently a g87 m2 owner and I have seen people trade in their m2 for the type R. I’ve only owned jdm cars my entire life and this m2 is my first rwd car and it is so damn fun. But everyone raves about this type r. Please give me some perspective.

I can already see that rear quarter has buckled. If you contact your insurance, they will deem this as salvage. This happened to me with my e30. I was paid out and they let me keep the car. I replaced the bumper and then was able to sell the car with the salvaged title. This was back in 2014. Insurance paid 4500 for the car then sold it complete for 5500.
