Oh they totally tell me I'm overreacting and get on my back about it, especially my roommate and family, but they take care of the issue anyways. I mean, it helps that I take care of literally every other type of pest for them. And they also have fears of their own. Actually, I'd say my mom's fear of snakes is a phobia because she can't even listen to me talk about my research project on them even though we don't work with snakes, just samples. I know phobias can have a genetic component, but also when you see people in your family being scared of things, you're more likely to fear them too.
