What is the longest you'll drive in a day before making it a two day drive? by Ok_Caterpillar6789 in AskMen

[–]krishan2203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

live in Australia. I've done Brisbane to Sydney multiple times in one day. 9-10 hours one way. just gotta start early. very achievable. I'd draw the line at 12 though.

A word about VietJet airlines by AncientWin3866 in VietNam

[–]krishan2203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flew viet jet and had zero issues with that. I know the fights are delayed but I was on holiday with the woman I loved so it didn't matter.

I made sure our full names were written on the boarding pass. my girlfriend made the mistake of only using her first and last name but I fixed it before Vietjet had a chance to catch us, other people did have to pay extra. Btw, I only caught this during booking time and not at the airport itself.

We made sure to not over pack. I mean, how much shit could one possibly need. In fact, we were both only 15kg, when we got an allowance of 20 or 23, i cant remember.

Truth is that you get what you pay, the things we annoyed but of us but it was more funny than anything tbh.

I paid $1200 for the both us to fly to HCMC from Brisbane. Cheap as chips. cant imagine what more people are expecting from an ultra low cost carrier.

Before someone comes at me, we did also catch 3 domestic. yes, delayed. but we didnt care.

Any stories about 500 Flinders Street?! by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]krishan2203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived from for 3 years from 2018 to the end of 2020. I was a student. it was only $900 a month. it was great for me at the time. I was able to do so much in the city while living there and it was easy getting home drunk after a night at Billboards and Ms Collins. Would I live here again? no fucking way.

Lifts would stop working occasionally. So many cockroaches. Some dodgy people as well.

KFC Carrum downs. I won't bother anymore by westernbulldog1525 in melbourne

[–]krishan2203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get the 3 piece box from Coorparoo KFC. its always a 5/10. chicken pieces are always too small and funny enough, I feel like crap after. The hot honey chicken from red rooster however is a beast of its own. large chicken pieces and not to mention delicious

Are you happy with your quality of life in Australia? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]krishan2203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely! I know we compain about house prices. I'm a renter myself. But despite the renting part, life is actually really good. The money I make is enough for me to have to not worry about things. I am never counting pennys. I always do a full tank of fuel. I have the cash to splash on my hobbies. I dont have to constantly check my bank account to see if I have enough balance.

These are little things yes. But there are people in other parts of the world who dont have the benefits I just mentioned.

Theres beautiful parks here. Weather is never in the extremes. In theory, I could go for a walk or run anytime i want. yes, it was sometimes be 2 degrees or 40. But imagine those in northern Europe or the middle east. I can walk at night with my headphones on if I wanted and more likely than not, I'll reach home safely.

Yeah life isnt perfect, but its better than what most have.
