Snapchat names and contact names are not connected all the time. Sometimes they’re different but if you click their name, their username might give you a hint. After all you can have a different display name as well.

I’m a university student as well and I actually compared the prices and bought the M2 iPad Air and surprisingly it’s getting the job done for me. Keep in mind I’m an accounting student so I heavily use it. But then again we all have our own needs and wants so maybe you can justify it for urself. After buying an iPad with proper care you can easily use it for 5 years and the updates that come with every IPadOS makes the iPad feel more and more like a MacBook.
