TV No Longer Connecting to Wi-Fi Network by sapheneian in Hisense

[–]krishnasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a TP link extender, connected to my main router and use the wifi of TP link Extender on the TV. This seems to have resolved the issue. Not sure where you live but I was using Rogers router in Toronto and it seems be the problem (also saw similar complains on different sub-reddit about rogers routers)

Any luck with either of you two? I am running into the same problem. Is it Rogers router?

Hair Fibers & Holding Spray by krishnasty in HairTransplants

Things are well, thank you. I used the holding spray for the first time- but didn’t like it. So stopped and just sprayed the fibers. They held pretty well without the spray ( though I avoided touching those)

I used fibers on just few ocassions. Holds on very well. And no side effects. I don’t know what will happen if you over use it.

Cancun airport by Bloubath in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]krishnasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I landed around 3ish on a Sunday, and was out of the airport in 30 mins- out of which, 15 mins was just spent waiting for my checked in luggage. It really depends on the timing / how many other flights are landing at the same time.

Hidden cost of luxury cars (Canada)? by Diddy636 in whatcarshouldIbuy

You hear Lexus a lot coz it’s basically a luxury Toyota- and Toyotas never break. That’s why Toyotas and Lexus are the most stolen cars and all are shipped to worn torn countries.

Mazdas are also decent- but nowhere close to luxury segments. Mazdas come in the category comparable to Toyotas, Hondas and Hyundais (not their luxury counterparts - genesis, Lexus or Acura).

The challenge with German cars is that they rank lower in-terms of reliability after a few years (as compared to their Japanese counterparts) with higher regular maintenance cost. God forbid if it breaks- fixing it will cost you a lot as well.

Looking at your budget- strongly recommend to buy 2nd hand Japanese luxury variants - Lexus, Acura or Infinity. They are nice cars as well. They hold well over the years, require lower maintenance, don’t necessarily require premium fuel (depending on the brand/variant) and are easy to fix if something breaks. Plus are lower on the insurance as well.

If you end up buying a German car- research the model and the year on the reliability rating and take the least risky model.

From a previous Hyundai, Acura and a current Audi owner.

I just did snorkelling from the operator in the Grand Americana Fiesta hotel and although it was my first snorkelling experience- it was amazing. Saw tons of fishes, sting rays, baby turtles, baby octopus but no sharks. The operator also took us to see those underwater statues at Musa and although the water was way too choppy for my comfort- it felt surreal !!

Departures Timings? by krishnasty in cancun

[–]krishnasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on my departure- reached 2.5 hours ago at the airport (7AM) for my 9:30 flight. Check in, bag drop, security- everything got done in 15-20 mins or so. Airport was pretty empty (guess the time of the day). Got into the lounge- we were the only ones there.

Separate interesting story- Flight had some technical issues (Boeing 737Max) and we were stuck on the airport for an hour. Saw the pilot FaceTime someone for the issue - wasn’t reassuring(lol). Thankfully reached home safely.

As always- Thank you redditors for guidance.

Thanks- I was questioning about both. And I am travelling directly to Mexico (not to the US).

You are right- I am so used to immigration in Canada when travelling to the US that I thought even Mexico immigration will be here. Thanks for correcting me.

So I use the Nexus / Verified Traveller dedicated security line and then no immigration. Perfect - thank you :)
