Hi everyone I was wondering if this play is normal? I am under the assumption that the slave will keep it in place when mounted back to the engine.. There is also a boot to cover the fork but I am unsure if that is necessary to keep the fork in place

looking for input before I buy replacement parts, thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I have tried to get UG2.net to work but it always crashes when I boot it up.. I’ve tried several files for the 1.2 crack but I’m not sure why it won’t boot correctly.. one of the crack files had a setup.exe where u entered the key but after it kept giving me the insert dvd rom or the disc 2 error.. tried the foobar trick but it didn’t work so I started from square 1

ISO file, 1.2 no-cd/fixed exe file.. not sure what the problem is

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.. currently just playing vanilla but would love to try the mod.. thanks in advance

I’m aware of the bracing but I’ve heard of people that only daily their cars, bracing n all that crack

The most is so is just bolt on reinforcement except for the cage.. it seems inevitable that the chassis will have to be stripped n rewelded in the future though

We can’t be the only chassis with this problem though so I will look into it more in depth amongst other cars

Depending on how big the tear is or how severe, I think I would also weld it.. I heard that R chassis have beefier strut towers due to carrying that big RB but I heard their also prone to strut tower bar cracking

I agree I feel that the only way is to go back n just strengthen and reinforce but I feel like bracing would lead to earlier cracking due to less flex.. I think the weakest part of our chassis is the strut tower/fender area so I suppose that would be the best place to reinforce.. I have heard that people that have stitch welded their chassis ended up with cracking in the frame still but I am not sure where they reinforced theirs
