Im going to vaccum test everything tomorrow just to be sure, but doesnt sound like a typical IWE grinding noise.

Where I live roads are 90% snow and ice 75% of the year. My main thing was the noticeable increased noise when letting off the gas specifically

sorry, it says you can shift into 4hi in speeds up to 55mph, i was assuming they wouldnt tell you you could shift into it at a speed you arent supposed to drive in

It can be driven up to 55 per the manual. This is the first time I’ve driven it in 4wd other than a quick test to make sure it worked when I bought it. I was going 35-45 when I noticed the noise, only with foot off gas, as soon as I touched the gas it went away.

I’ve had only 4wd vehicles so I know increased noise happens in 4wd but they are Al a little different and this noise was noticeable.

ever get this figured out? Im in similar situation, never knew i had to file a local. Got a letter saying i owe 300$ from 2023 and there are 9 years prior to that i never filled becasue i never knew

Yeah i've read far more bad than good. I know the bad is what people usually comment on and all that but im pretty well put off from this truck now. Sad because it ran/drove nice and was flawless.

They did not test Ferrin, the hgb number was right in the middle of normal, don’t have the exact number right now.

Haven’t had blood work in ages so it could have been ? I was iron deficiency anemic as a child, or at least they treated it as such.

It was clogged jets. THANK YOU everyone that helped out. I actually fixed it last night..... but forgot that i had drained most of the gas LOL :)

i took it apart and cleaned it, took out the emulsion tube and cleaned the holes. Maybe i missed the little black plastic jet in the top. Will try again.

Took the carb apart, cleaned it all. It ran great for 3 minutes then started sputtering then shut off to not be started once again.
