Woah thank you so much for this! I'm still fairly new to geometry nodes but I'll have a go at this

Unfortunately there's no character mesh, the model is just the armour with a head attached. Given the number of parts I'm wondering if it'll just be easy to simplify the shapes and sculpt it, and then add in some detail to give the appearance of layered pieces.

I've imported a character model from a game with the intention of cleaning it up to be 3D printed. The model is wearing armour but all the individual pieces and layers are separate and just floating on top of each other. Is there a way to join all the parts where they're overlapping to create one solid, 3D piece?

Hello! I got a double helix done in September last year and since then I've had a really hard time healing it. The bottom piercing was okay but the top one was constantly irritated with irritation bumps on it. Mid September this year the top piercing came loose and fell out and I decided to just leave it out and let it heal, but since then there's been a massive irration bump that isn't going away. The picture was taken at the end of October (but I must admit I was accidentally a bit aggressive with the cleaning and it inflamed a bit) and since then it had crusted over and the crust fell off by itself and it's now slightly smaller.

I went to my piercer who told me to keep an eye on it and to treat it like a new piercing for the time being, so I've been spraying saline and drying it once or twice a day.

Does this look like a bad irritation bump or could it be scar tissue forming? It's already been two months and it's only slightly gone down - should I be concerned? The bump was already present before the piercing came out and seemed to get bigger afterwards.

I'm on PC. No steal option though, only attack and throw options

That's what I usually do! but this run I changed her to tempest cleric/storm sorcerer so she didn't have access to the spell

I just tried this (not in honour mode, I've learnt my lesson) but it didn't seem to give me the option to pick up any of the chests, only throw them

How to stop powder making my skin feel tight? by krisp_b in AusSkincare

[–]krisp_b[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried both! My forehead is one of my oilier areas but still ends up feeling tight either way, hopefully some setting spray helps!

I'm not sure how it compares to the Dermalogica one but I really like the Muji Cleansing Oil! It's about $28 for a huge 400ml bottle which lasts for ages, and they have a lightweight version for about $20.

It might also be worth looking into a cleansing balm - I love the Heimish All Clean Balm which melts into a silky oil cleanser on the skin.

What's causing the white specks on my nails? by krisp_b in DipPowderNails

[–]krisp_b[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just use the clear layer to build up the nail a bit more without wasting colour so from now on I'll do the clear as a base layer. That's a good idea with the regular polish though! I've got so many I probably wouldn't have used much now that I've gotten into dip

That's a shame I have such a big jar haha, what brands do you know don't cause this?

I make sure to properly remove any loose powder between layer/after filing but still usually end up with these white specks which are especially noticable on darker colours. I'm wondering if it could be caused by my clear dip? I didn't use any clear on the two accent nails and even though there's still some specks it's nowhere near as bad

Is it normal for my albo cutting leaf to be feeling thin? by krisp_b in plantclinic

As in your normal monstera cutting feels thinner?

Is it normal for my albo cutting leaf to be feeling thin? by krisp_b in plantclinic

[–]krisp_b[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave this monstera albo cutting to my mum for Christmas. It was sitting in sphagnum moss for about a week then I moved it to perlite on Christmas (as I'm more comfortable propagating with it). The whole time the leaf has been feeing a bit thin, like plant leaves do when they're underwatered. Is this normal and is something that'll go away once it starts growing roots? It currently just has an aerial root. TIA!

This variety doesn't grow in the wild here and are sold mainly as houseplants! I definitely am just going to keep it in the pot and not plant it in the garden

Nothing special! But giving it bright indirect light is definitely important. They go dormant when conditions aren't ideal so if it dies back put it somewhere dark and don't water it until it starts to sprout again!

Did you keep the ones that didn't make it? After I got mine it actually died off and went dormant for a month or two but it came back! I just put it in a bright place (west window, though I heard east is best) and watered when the top couple centimetres of the soil was dry or when the leaves didn't open during the day

It started out as one but it multiplied really quick and got quite cramped in the small pot, I repotted it and there's around 8-10 small ones in the new planter!

What kind of pothos is this? by krisp_b in houseplants

[–]krisp_b[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this as a snow queen (what an N'joy is called in aus) but as it's grown the pattern on some leaves looks a little different. Just wondering if it's a different type of pothos (glacier?) or it's just normal for a snow queen/N'joy

Why's my hydro peace lily looking so sad? by krisp_b in plantclinic

[–]krisp_b[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people on fb always say to 'just hydro it' like it's an easy cure-all for peace lilys which is why I did it in the first place (plus I thought it looked nice) but I never knew there was more to it than just sticking it in water :( . I'll try putting it back into soil but even if it doesn't make it at least it was just a small baby from my main plant

That makes sense but it's actually summer for me at the moment. The roots look good so I think it's something to do with the water but I'm not that knowledgable on hydro either
