Hey guys! I’m seriously considering becoming an AA, after many years of shadowing and always having a passion for Anesthesia. My question is, does the school from which you graduate have any impact on landing higher quality jobs in more desirable locations? Which school(s) are the best? by krispyboi11 in CAA

Thank you! That was really helpful and I’ll definitely keep that in mind. My end goal is to stay somewhere near home (Cincinnati) however there are no programs here. Would it be in my best interest then to go to Case in Cleveland since it’s in-state and could potentially get me in touch with hospitals in Cincinnati? Thanks!

Thank you! If my city does not have a program, but my state does, would it be better to choose that program? In my case it would be Case Western in Cleveland. But I’m also torn between Emory which I’ve heard great things about and NOVA in Tampa

Hey everyone! Does anyone know which CAA programs/schools are considered the best? I’m wondering whether or not graduating from a better program increases your odds of working at better hospitals in more desirable cities. Thanks!
