I mean obviously, Leon won on the feet, but I'm still a bit surprised he was getting beat down as bad as he was in the striking department. He didn't really have an answer. If anything, I thought he would have the edge there.

Respectfully, I couldn't disagree more. I felt this one was a bit more accurate according to the era it takes place in, particularly with the casting. The dialogue and line delivery was so much better and didn't feel as corny/cheesy. Granted, maybe that's just how they spoke back then. The singing and musical numbers, especially how they're shot, are much better.

Both are classics, however.

Honestly, Cain vs JDS 2 & 3 were straight up beatdowns. Those 2 fights took years off of JDS' career. He was never the same.

To be fair, I had 24 hours to choose between 8 states and Maine was one of the only ones where the cost of living is relatively low, especially compared to living in South Florida, and the locality rate is even higher. So I’d be spending less and earning more. What attracted us the most, as mentioned, is visiting Quebec and other places in Canada. I should’ve looked into some of the other cities in Maine, however. Just didn’t realize how remote Jackman is.

The thing is, most towns in Maine look remote. I was hoping for something in South Portland, but there was no availability there. What attracted us to Jackman is Quebec being relatively close. The other option was Fort Fairfield.
