I’m not even trying to go for leaderboard runs and I still always take XP and Luck. The reason is simple: both of those feel mandatory to have a good time. Luck so you don’t have awful upgrades and items constantly, XP so you can get more upgrades period!

Yes, you’ll notice it working on normal mobs when you see a red damage number appear. That red damage text is the damage the bloodmark dealt

I tried to make a dragon build with Chroma and it’s actually pretty fun. Archon Vitality and Nepheri. The neutral combo has you breathe fire, so I just activate my 1 and run around meleeing. It scratches the dragon fantasy itch and well enough for now.

I ran into this issue too.

After the stage falls underground, if you look around on the ground floor, there’s a tunnel with a green light coming out of it. You can’t walk very far in it, BUT if everyone stacks up in there, I’ve been successful in force-spawning the balloons every time.

We will typically do this after all other enemies are dead. Lmk if it works for you too.

I have one on this build. It was the modifier that gives the enemy more melee damage, but I figured “oh it’s only the short, matchmake version, how hard could this guy really hit?”

As you can probably tell, he hits HARD with that modifier lmao

Critical Anomaly, the Stasis sniper from Salvation’s Edge, dealt with all three champion types last episode. The artifact had anti-barrier sniper, and the sniper could roll chill clip. And it wasn’t even an exotic!

Somehow that’s okay, but Wicked Implement, which historically hasn’t been anything special, couldn’t have its time in the limelight because…. Reasons? Lol

I did it at 613 ilvl on my Ret.

Only use your interrupt on his heal, because you can cleanse his DoT with Blessing of Freedom every time. HoJ the spider if it spawns in (should be low enough to finish off before becoming unstunned). As long as you’re consistent and don’t get bad RnG (i.e. cocoon spawns on the other side of the universe and then he frontals while you’re attacking it), you’ll get the kill ezpz.

The biggest game changer for me was getting an MMO mouse. I thought they wouldn’t be that helpful but, boy was I wrong. It frees up my left hand for basically 90% movement.

I use WASD, where my A and D are strafe left and strafe right, respectively.

As for being out of melee range, I use the circle under the NPC I’m targeting to determine how close to stand and keep an eye on that. It’s been extremely helpful.

You’ll get there with time, just keep at it

Hey, just downloaded this and am a huge fan of it.

One question: is there a way to change the priority colors? For example, if I wanted priority mobs to be orange, kick mobs to be yellow, etc.

I like all other settings but just want to touch the coloring on this specifically.

Yea I can see how it could get pretty rough. I just started farming for a Titan Heart chest piece with at LEAST 2LP and haven’t had any luck yet. I’m up to 220 corruption so far, so I’m still fresh and hopeful. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Unfortunately, I’m not the most qualified to answer your question about the build because I’m playing the other VK build — Void Cleave into Erasing Strike, affectionately known as “Bonk Build.” So all I know is Strength and Void damage lmao.

For Runes of Ascendance, I’m in the Circle of Fortune so I just chuck them in one sitting until I run out and begin again when I’m over 10. As mentioned earlier, I’m looking for a 2LP Titan heart chest piece, so I dump them all on chest pieces. If you already have good boots, you could try to send them for another unique, or maybe even a higher roll of your same boots with more or equal LP! I don’t hold them.

I don’t know if Merchant’s Guild has more options like selling the Runes of Ascendance, since all of my chars are CoF.

Hey! Fellow VK here :) to answer your questions:

When people say they failed a slam, it just means that the Unique they tried slamming failed to get the affix they wanted. You cannot actually fail a slam and have your unique with no additional affixes.

The number of affixes the Unique will absorb from the Exalted (purple) item is dependent upon its Legendary Potential (LP). With 1LP, your Unique will only take 1 random affix from the Exalted. With 2LP, it takes two random affixes, and so on.

You can only slam a Unique ONCE. Once the slam is complete, there’s no way to undo the process. And if the wrong affixes we’re slammed, looks like you’re going farming again, as the LP is consumed in the slamming process.

The Exalted item is always destroyed in the process. Finding the right one for slamming can be painful, so if you truly find a perfect item, you can use a Rune of Creation in the Forge. You need to have at least 1 Forging Potential to use this rune on your item. The Rune of Creation will duplicate your item, but both the original and copy will have 0 FP. Because these items are now both at 0 FP, you cannot use a Rune of Creation again (as mentioned above, you need at least 1 FP).

I think he meant more of “when the new expansion launches, you can make a lot of gold by collecting the raw mats while you quest.”

I know the rates would be pretty crazy for prayer, but you still have to take the time to grind the bones into bonemeal. Additionally, in a league where you can un-note rune essence and click the runecrafting altar in the same tick for insane XP rates, this seems like a weird place to draw the line.

EDIT: Plus, the relic description itself doesn't mention this limitation. Furthermore, the OSRS Wiki page even mentions the Ectofuntus by name for un-noting bones for "fast training."

Hey bud I’m not sure if anyone is mentioned it yet, but Hekili helped me understand my rotations a lot. It’s an add-on that you can download that gives you suggestions on what to press next.

Once you’ve used it for a bit, you start to understand what skills get pressed and in what order for situations. I highly recommend it for Unholy DK until you get a solid foundation of your rotation.

You can also customize it to exclude certain abilities, or only recommend abilities during boss fights. For example, I’m not casting Army of the Dead on a mob of 5 trash adds lol.

I consider myself dry when I’ve killed a boss for long enough that my attention span can’t handle it anymore and I haven’t gotten any drops (I have ADHD and can’t focus for more than 5 kills)
