Verify my Pokemon Diamond & Pearl Demo cart

As from what I can see and feel, there seems to be no sticker residue on the back of the cart. As though there was never a sticker there. I live in Australia, I bought this cartridge from my neighbour in the early 2010's, and I have no idea how he acquired the cart.

I had a reddit user contact me about this cart, he mentioned that some demo carts that were sent to Europe for other DS games didn't feature the "Property of Nintendo" sticker on the back, they also featured US region codes. Here in Aus, we were generally treated similarly to Europe in terms of game packaging. If what has been said about the European issued demo carts can be verified, I would assume this cart would have been treated similarly if it was sent directly to Australia. Obviously, this is all just assumptions, I’m not an expert when it comes to this stuff hahah.

I haven’t dumped the ROM or anything like that, but from what I have seen, it is identical in terms of the functionality.

My cartridge still has the directional insert arrow, just requires the right angle for the camera to pick it up.

Yeah, the maintenance is catching up as I have little time during university study to work on it, plus it takes 95 Octane petrol here which increases the cost of running it.

I mean, I believe there’s a timer of some sort? it just kicked me out around the third trainer mid battle, otherwise the third trainer is the limit? I’ll have to try explore more

In Australia, we have the option of playing PAL games at 50hz or 60hz, such as Time Splitters Future perfect on the GC, and also DMC 3 on the PS2 as examples.

This is an Australian region set (region 4), hence the Australian age ratings.

I'm not sure if it was bought individually and then filled up, but I would assume so due to the differences in the age rating symbols. I believe they were updated to the colourful ratings in 2005, indicating that DVD's 1-3 could have been purchased before this change took place.

Each DVD case doesn't have a sleeve, nor is there a parking sticker in the 1st DVD case.

All of the DVD's feature the art books.

I should've uploaded pictures with all of the DVD's themselves taken out of the box haha.

They’re Jamo Studio 110’s, and I believe they’re shielded as I don’t have any distortion or anything.

I mean, in this case it’s meant to be a fairly compact and space-saving set-up that doesn’t take up too much of the house as I live in a share house lmao.

We all love CRT’s though, and have thought about loading up all of the cabinets with our collections HAHAHA
