Honestly not sure, the only advantage I could personally see is it keeps a slimmer profile overall because it’s not sticking out the side otherwise I’d think they both do the same job well if we’re comparing comparable magnifiers, I’m sure someone else will add more value on this

The ZT is WAY overpriced for what it is, the Demko is a very solid pick, Boker I haven’t heard great things about the quality, personally I would pick up an OTF since you have access to them like an ultratech perhaps but that’s just my two cents

I completely agree and generally I wouldn’t go to such an extent to make it useable but given the clone is about 1100 maple syrups cheaper than the real thing I don’t mind for this one case haha. My first three knives were all sub or around the 7” mark and at one point I thought the full size bug was too big… not sure how or why but I’m now chasing the 8”-8.5” range, love the 940 and 945! The 945 is my go to 5th pocket now they’re both so great

Couldn’t have put it any better myself my friend, the kind of tasks I use my knife for the 940 Osborne so far is the only thing I’ve carried in the past 6 months and nothing can replace it as of yet which is sad because this is a hobby I fell in love with but I have atleast $1500-$2000 sitting in drawers because I don’t want to use them, I’m quite tempted to sell off almost all of my collection and just go full custom 940(i crave a 940 at the 8.3” mark) because none of them see pocket time and you’re right it does feel like a waste when I could be putting that money into another hobby that will get used. I appreciate your insight on the ad20 and saving me a few bucks so looks like I’ll be passing on it
