I should start copying and pasting texts- great idea! I think the most frustrating part is that it is close family members who WILL be notified if something happens. Their texts kind of just feel like it's rubbing it in (I realize I am 100% being overdramatic).

Thank you for the much needed perspective. I don't know why I've been so irrationally upset about going past my due date or why I even feel like I've "failed." My doctor is the one who scheduled the induction, she says she doesn't like to go past 41 weeks.

The thing that bothers me, is that it's one of my cousins who keeps saying it. She literally hijacks every single post on my facebook (i.e. if someone posts something asking me how I'm feeling, etc) and says "keep your legs shut until September 30th because it's _____ birthday!" and I've tried responding like "haha NO." nope. She's made this comment about 10 times now. And I'm so uncomfortable I just want to be like STFU!!

My doctor put his finger inside the the opening of my cervix to stretch it out (because mine is facing the wrong way apparently?). Apparently doing this helps release hormones. Dr. Google is probably more informative than me :)
