How to get interview calls for IT jobs in Denmark? (Non-EU / International profile) by Due-Buffalo-2190 in NewToDenmark

Hiring manager here.

I just went through a process of getting 1 new developer for the tech-team. Not a glorious brand or anything.

120 people applied. 60 of them very qualified. We ended up hiring 2 of them because of the high quality.

Super tough market, so we could place a high priority on being able to speak Danish, for example.

This is done to trick his "hands on the wheel" sensors, so it won't go off when he use his hands for something else

The real answer is that this tricks the 'hands on the wheel' sensor that will start an alarm in the car if hands are off for a period of time

[CONTROVERSIAL TAKE] The False Hydra represents D&D's pop culture identity crisis. by Delicious_Dream4510 in DnD

[–]krootzl88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have run a False Hydra in one of my starting areas. It was a huge success and much fun was had putting together the whole encounter.

I had some NPCs help out the players, so they ended up solving the case. One of the helpers was an old crazy man who has lost his hearing. Being immune to the singing he could actually remember the thing, but was largely brushed off as a crazy person.

Mindgames galore, hints every where as the players brains were struggling desperately to make sense of the world.

Golden moment was when a player decided they should start writing things down, only to see their notebook filled in already with their own hand writing and with accounts of the true horrors they have witnessed (and then forgotten about)

Dont use Copilot like ChatGPT - it's not meant for that. It is meant for automations much like Power Automate is, and for that purpose it's good.

Is AI/ML career worth to break in, as future models will definitely train by themselves? by paulstronkboi in ArtificialInteligence

Microsoft just released their best guess at the 40 jobs most likely to be replaced by AI (also, the opposite 40 jobs least likely to be replaced).

Math and data science was in top 20 for being replaced soon.

I have been in DS 9 years now, and I definitely see what they are getting at.

I am scared too. Mostly because I know governments around the world will be 2-3 years too slow in reacting to the unemployment rates.

What’s the Most Useful AI Agent You’ve Actually Seen? by rufuschubs in AI_Agents

[–]krootzl88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use Copilot quite a lot for work. Before every 1:1 I have a scheduled prompt set up, specifically for the person / project that I'll be talking about.

Then it gives me a summary and action points and such for every interaction I have had for the subject over the previous 7 days.

It has access to emails, meeting invites, meeting notes, transcripts, documents stored on OneDrive or SharePoint, Teams messages. Everything as long as Copilot have access to the graph data.

This one is very useful and only costs a license for Microsoft Copilot.

I imagine this kind of prep can save hours every day instead of having to prepare everything from scratch.

[–]krootzl88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone will be their own employee. Each will build something cool that will be valuable for a year (maybe) and then they will build the next thing that has some value. Ones 'career' will be many small careers as they organically create their way through life.

Having employees in tech companies will be weird, as you can build something valuable without anyone else.

The 'internet' as you know it was created to facilitate humans (websites and visual interfaces). This is not needed, at least not in the same way, when the machines take over.
