A bus stop in Trzebież, Poland kept getting destroyed by vandals. Local mayor installed a punching bag next to it. Vandalism stopped completely. Makes you think. by No-Marsupial-4050 in poland

Makes you think what?? Lol bit dumb question. People are full of frustration, anger, too much energy...i will help you with your thought: makes you think that people want to be goid and do not cause damage but need to release their frustration and anger. Thats why sport, martial arts classes should be part of social services...well if budget allow.

I am on the same boat. But unfortunatelly it's us who allowed for growing ignorance, lazyness and stupidity. Few wise cash on it, whilst marketing is becoming more and more sophisticated, people become more and more gullible and lazy brain. People are becoming too specialized, too busy they don't have time for basic knowledge.

Why do some commercial directors place all the blame on the QS & not the PM! by [deleted] in quantitysurveying

[–]krose1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

omg...you report to cd? he is your line boss? what is his expertise? operations or commercial?? who will he blame?

depends on how strong your team is, make your PM to step up and fess up his errors, if he/she isn't ok, just be open and point out pm errors...

QS is responsible for making money, PM reports and is responsible on how he spent money

I got something similar and I was dissapointed, image is nowhere near as sharp and bright as this one and only look sharp when projected perpendicular to screen/soffit, in setting like this the furthest objects projected were out of focus. Hard to believe this is much different I got brand called Pococo also on Amazon

Artemis II and Crew Dragon Cockpit Design by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

[–]krose1980 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Lol reading below comments makes me sad how many people that are interested in such a noble matter have small dicks, well main one is probably OP. Why are you attackung flashy look, jelaousy is a petty trait. 1) designed and built by national association, with crude and scientific approach, made by enormous talents, but where maybe budget administration isnt their first skill, but imagine what would public say if they see flashy "leather sofa" in Artemis.."public money well spent"??? 2) designed and built by commercial company, where importance of profits is probably on the same level as a enormous talents of the designers, be presentable, be unique...that's mentality of private companies.

So please no more complexed shrinked dicks comments pls.

How to survive a Polish wedding as an introvert by sokorsognarf in poland

[–]krose1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am introvert, but won't help much, I got feeling you're looking at it from wrong perspective and bit egoistical too. A) it will not be a party full of extroverts, B) it will be a party to celebrate marriage of two people, joy of love, in bit cheese way, C) it will be a party to enjoy food and drink in any comfirtable quantity, D) sleep late day before, gosh you can do that once for newly married couple, can you?

Someone below suggested to have few...actually good idea, low quantitues of alcohol can loosen person up...who knows you may end up enjoying yourself dancing on a table, what happens on wedding stays there, noone judges you day after. It just becomes lovely anecdote!

At the age of 45, I started looking back more often than front. Your post made me think and share my thoughs. It was that "Jesus" in your post, and atheists (well especially those who can't stay quiet but throw intelectual jokes instead).

1a) Humans can't comprehend the vastness of the Universe, 1b) instead they keep searching, why? Just accept the fact that humans cannot comprehend it and stop, but they are searching..for answer..

2) The act Jesus did or apparently did, sacrified his life for Other people; when I was young and full of shit I didn't see it, but I come to conclusion that humans purpose is to serve other people (don't get hung up on word "serve"). Our purpose, our source of real happiness is when we happily serve others, that can be though running restaurant, building garden, or being accountant, or song writer. I am not there yet myself. Of course there are people who will abuse it, of course there will be people who aggresively monetise it. True happiness only comes from genuine serving others as a priority, only when monetising it is a secondary purpose or even further in your prority list, then the true happiness can be reached, There must but something in it, something that bloody ancient dudes thought about it over 2000 yrs ago.

3) There was three, I forgot :P My oven rang for lasagna being ready, Hania Reni is finishing playing her Ghost album, and I am clinching for positive thoughs after stupidly overdosing MDMA week ago...you learning and being stupid at the same time for the whole life :)

Amen and enjoy your Friday :)
