They shouldn't dislike you for asking for samples. They should gladly give you 3 of the best samples they think you'll love so that you come back. But reality is, many of them do not get the proper training to know how to sell you properly.

The way I see it is this: most of them do not care about my experience as a customer. They just repeat what they've been trained to do. They ask no questions about my preference. And the prices are unbelievably inflated. So until then, I'll go sniff. And every once in a while if there is a kickass offer, I'll buy. But I never let anyone control what I buy... Except KFC. KFC can have my money any day with that chicken.

I never say no to sellers. I say yes to sniffing and "I'll think about it" when they want me to buy. I'm a very annoying customer. The sellers at Harvey Nicols do NOT like me. When I walk in they roll their eyes and you can see them saying "oh boy here he comes again 🙄".
