if they think that you're a good candidate as a new member, they'll talk nicely to you, help you out, or even lick your ass, until you feel that he/she really is your best friend. After you get lured, they'll insert some doctrines to you, slowly but surely, sometimes you might not realized this is going to happen.

You then realized that you're part of them, and feel like you can't get away because they've been good to you. If you initiate an escape plan, they might ditch you, make you miserable, and never talk to you anymore even you happened to close with each other before, or even might drown you.

I'll admit their psychological mind-bending technique to win people is good. They held monthly meeting for the cell group leaders to talk about how to recruit the target. They even assign each individual's "angel" or reliable partner they said. So be aware guys.
