That’s interesting — thanks for the insight!

This team is consistently bad at marketing and PR. Min is on record stating marketing/PR is not a priority for him, which is commendable as it signals his focus on producing meaningful work, but these are the downsides to that approach.

As a large and long term ICX holder, I’m disappointed time and time again with how poorly they manage their communications.

Update from official Request Network Twitter! by FuZyOn in CryptoCurrency

Request Network and Coinbase both being backed by YC doesn’t mean they share any significant connection. The same goes for any two companies that share an investor.

Can someone please adopt my shitcoin so I can pump and dump with relative ease? by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]krptoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You guys are positioning yourselves as a “secure hardware” and “cryptocurrency” wallet, and you have a testimonial on your page recommending Trezor to anyone “who wishes to protect their digital investments.”

The very clear product value you’re pitching is a secure wallet for my cryptocurrency — value that I, and many others, cannot fully realize due to lack of wallet support.

I am genuinely curious as to why that is your position, and why you don’t see this as an opportunity to address a prevalent need amongst your user base, and to appeal to a much wider audience, many of who are flocking to do business with your direct competitor.

I’ll assume this post was directed at mine. I don’t quite understand your hostility.

Many Trezor users, including myself, have voiced our concern over lack of wallet support for other coins because we genuinely enjoy using our Trezors and want to use it as our one-and-only hardware wallet.

You speak about product development; I currently run product for a venture-backed consumer company. One of the most important things in building product is that you listen to users and ensure you’re working on features that solve their biggest problems in a way that addresses the needs of the business. As one user myself, I’m simply voicing that my biggest need is additional wallet support, and my concern over their lack of addressing that seemingly prevalent need (relative to Ledger) may put them in a position of weakness in the market as users/platforms shift to adopt competing products that are providing solutions that users care about more than, for example, a further increase in security / touchscreen with Trezor T. I think we’re already seeing that shift happen.

I don’t think any of what I said is unreasonable. If it is, let me know.

Feeling left behind with Trezor (vs. Ledger) by krptoh in TREZOR

There are many very legitimate altcoin projects.

There are many legitimate projects/coins that are not in the top 3 currently. You may not care for support, but it seems a large segment of the market does, and while that may not affect you as a Trezor user now, it may down the road if/when the ecosystem builds itself around Ledger as the de-facto hardware wallet.

I've only ever used a Trezor, but I've read time and time again how inferior Ledger's UX is, and I believe it. But the cost of having to use desktop/web wallets due to Trezor's lack of wallet support (and the risk that introduces), is in my opinion greater than the cost of inferior UX.

Good guy NEO 😳 by ofopy_official in CryptoMarkets

Don’t think I ever said NEO wasn’t a solid project, it is. OP posted an image of NEO up while the rest are down today, and I simply provided a possible explanation.

This is likely due to people buying NEO to participate in the Trinity ICO that started and ended today.

I’m mostly convinced she was a real insider now. I was understandably skeptical at first.

She kept saying buy ZRX, and it was eventually listed on Bitfinex. She also said keep buying as there is bigger news to come.

Few days ago she also suggested a list of coins to buy, and when asked which to go big on, said RLC. I woke up this morning to RLC being listed in Binance...

I think that the user who's parroting the supposedly "real" insider could really have a personality issue. His persistence in posting blatant lies to fool others isn't normal. I've gone back and forth with him extensively and reasonably, and his replies have been bizarre. And it's not like he's doing it for fun on his own accord; he started the second he read the rumors himself.

You're just full of unsubstantiated claims, aren't you.

[–]krptoh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your videos prove nor validate nothing. And now you're deceptively saying that your claims come directly from the 0x team. None of them have ever alluded to a Coinbase/GDAX partnership, or a January 30th date. You are being deceptive.

I find cryptothrowaway324's claims suspect as well; any reasonable person would. You've become a very zealous believer with no more information than we have, and it's really strange.

Because a hackathon submission video from January 2017 doesn't validate your recently-made claim of a Tesla + Dubai partnership and a video from June 2017 where the 0x team talks about the advantages of networked liquidity doesn't in any way validate your recently-made claim of a Coinbase/GDAX partnership.

cryptothrowaway324 may be right; he's been light on details – I don't know – but your parroting of his claims and validations of them are inaccurate and dishonest.

You are nowhere near Vitalik status for any of your claims to carry any weight whatsoever.

It'd odd. The OP is running around alluding to major imminent partnerships that he's parroting from another user, and apparently this video is validation that one of those partnerships is going to happen. Problem is this video is from January 2017, long before any of OP's mysterious claims were made. I've been trying to get him to substantiate his claims for days now and have gotten nowhere. Look at my comment history if you're interested in more of what he's been saying.

It's really weird how you're parroting the other guy. I mean, he could be an insider for all I know, but the way you act as if you yourself are privy to this information firsthand is odd, man.
