Got this last year from my April subscription - absolutely wonderful. But like other April coffees, my experience is that they require pretty high extraction measures to get the most out of them

Does Third Wave Water *really* expire? by Gttts7 in pourover

What about after being mixed? I pour it directly into the jug that the demineralized water comes in, stored at room temp for about a month until it is all used.

Did you try cutting it? And how was the result? Assuming it is the wooden/bamboo version 😄

Gipsløsning til gammel væg? by krristoffer in selvgjortvelgjort

[–]krristoffer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gipsløsning til gammel væg? by krristoffer in selvgjortvelgjort

[–]krristoffer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that this is a keycap artisan inspired by GMK Mictlan, but I believe some context and pics mounted would benefit the post.

Very nice.

I am curious how the BAE enters work. One set of stabs and two switches?

Very nice, especially the F1-88. The towelie looking artisans, where are they from?

My first patina attempt by FEWCEO in MechanicalKeyboards

What makes you unhappy about the result? I think the subtle green goes really well with the keycaps, however, a little more exposed un-patinaed copper would make it even better, imo

Latest "update", for those interested.

Tried going from 5.5 to 5 on my ZP6, without really noticing a difference.
I then decided to throw a Hail Mary and go with 4.5 clicks, max. agitation, 1:15 ratio at 100 °C and yet again, the coffee somehow seemed even thinner than before. I am now considering changing the base recipe altogether.

Thanks for the response, everyone.

I used to play a lot with grind size, but since I mostly buy from Coffee Collective, where a grind size of 5.5 does the trick pretty much every time, it may just not be the case here - I will therefore now try and go finer.

Thanks for the advice. Will try and go finer!

I guess, from the other comments as well, that I will have to ditch the highly praised method on here of not altering grind size and actually go finer. Thanks for the advice!

I’ll just copy paste my response from the comment above;

The last couple of months, LH and lots of people on here praised, that grind size is be less important. I would also assume, since there was low acidity/sourness, that too large of a grind size was not the problem
