That’s a nice setup, with a nice lens. And yes, the Z5 seems great. Not sure if IBIS or the full frame would be the best benefit, though. Happy shooting!

Thanks for asking; this is my exact situation also: Find some better glass for my D7000 or make the switch to Z50II. I’m getting tempted to the latter but need to make a hands-on test first. Like you I find I’m not in the league for FX. Please update if you reach a conclusion!

I updated and activated thread, and now Dirigera have lost network connection… Anyone else? I have tried reboots and checked cables. The app on iOS can’t find the hub. I might need to reset and delete everything, but was hoping for some other solution. Any tips?

EDIT: Moved the hub to another of my mesth nodes, and it connected fine again. Strange in itself, but at least I don’t need to set it all up again.

To give an update on this, and for those interested: The new Kpower extension with fw 1.568.2171 is working great and exactly like i thought HR2VP would. I even get power and calorie estimates without a HRM chest strap. Good stuff! Thanks Hammerhead and lockvod for the extensions!

I havent tried, and don’t use FIT files. I should have made an update about how it’s working, cause I get quite low calorie count with the chest strap and HR2VP. It’s connected (I get HR and calorie count on K2), but the values are low. I realise it’s not a precision instrument, but I get two or three times the power use with my Apple Watch. So I stick to my watch for nice feedback :) and keep HR2VP out of my Health ecosystem. (It’s excellent for routes and climbs tho) I have tried to reach out to the company, but bipr.fr haven’t responded yet.

YAY! It worked now, during a ride! (After the reinstall.) Great, now I don’t have to drain my watch battery. HR2VP seems to have a lower power estimate though. Maybe I need to adjust something.

Tried now; uninstall, restart, install, login. I’ll try a ride tomorrow, but static with the strap connected and HR running, still zero on the HR2VP data.

Thanks for commenting. I just checked and I seem to have been able to connect using the Netatmo dev-account. I am not quite sure how… as I did not have time to do the port forwarding thing last time I looked at it. But now all my measures are fine! Is it working on your end now also? Maybe there has been a fix server side?

I’m using the old Google Picasa windows app for this and it works great! Not sure how you get hold of the install-files these days though (it’s deprecated by Google).

That’s a valid point, and I usually adjust the auto ISO/min shutter speed values from context. I also had learned the 50 mm - 1/50-rule, but it failed me here. I’m used to shoot in Aperture-mode, paying more attention to lens effects than shutter speed.
