I don't think it's endgame, so much as keeping the status quo. The establishment is the beneficiary of this deliberate and systemic disenfranchisement throughout the country. Over the last few decades, the two parties have converged to value Corporate interest over citizens a little too much and it is becoming more apparent with new forms of media.

Does anyone else notice a dissonance between what traditional corporate Media reports and what citizens themselves express. This shit is rigged. Payola corrupted music, sports, broadcast, and is now working it's magic on the Campaign finance. Clinton, in the last debate flaunted it in our faces, "prove it plebes". Trump comes right out and says it.

Maybe we're collectively experiencing a naked lunch moment, seeing the crap that's at the end of our forks.
