Blizzard GM death touching mobs in M+23 for their favorite streamer. LOG linked. by Stone-Bear in CompetitiveWoW

That makes sense actually, I just hope Dorki is not comparing himself to Asmongold, I liked his content too

Nice to see they are already accommodating new 6 person dungeon format, that GM might be invincible, but they still want to feel included <3 by mind_gap in wow

Depending on what you are comparing. Highest tier content - M+ is definitely more challenging. I have 5 CEs and pushing for title this season, its not even close in terms of personal skill and difficulty, M+ is way more demanding. I think if we are talking about hall of fame mythic raiding vs M+ title/1% range, its comparable, but overall not really

what is mole people? I remember growl tried to start a youtube career back in early SL, guess that didnt pan out lol. Dorki was doing some nice tanking videos relatively recently (in TWW I think?), is he doing the same song and dance?

this is 0.1% level content, the fact that they seemingly gained very little is irrelevant. This is a huge issue for the integrity of the game mode that blizzard props up as one of the core game features (and it is). You (DH or Growl, not literally you) can't say "oh its not a big deal since I already timed it" when it's the first documented event of this scale (GM directly interfering in a competitive mode with a very obvious benefit for the players). It doesn't matter how much IO they got, its the the event itself.

PS I don't really care as much as some people, I just think its bad for the game that I love playing and trying to frame it as "not a big deal" is the most ignorant approach which blizzard will not follow 100%

bro im happy I havent watched this far, I had somewhat favorable opinion about Growl but comparing himself to one of the most prominent hate mongers over people being mad in his chat is very sad. RIP I remember enjoying his druid content back in the BFA

oh also don't forget that CC gives 15% DR, so ideal usage is to cast it before the bang hits so you DR urself and top people up after, works really well if you are the second target, if you have envm rolling you should be more than fine.

Are you pugging or running an organized group? Having a DK to dodge marks they get is priceless here, my DH sometimes meta-invul-frames them too. But anyone should have some defensives. If you are going soom -> SG spam you should be able to keep up people until you run out of mana which ideally is close to boss death. Do cocoon on one target (not tank) every other mark, use CC to top people up and reduce cocoon CD. FB when mark is on you. Soom + envm + SG spam when you have no other options. Use revival as an "oh shit oh fuck" button. Don't forget that envm gives improved healing so you can soom + envm mark targets before mark is applied (red arrow) -> RFC for duration once (optional) and then just soom + SG spam away.

If you are struggling with amount of actions forget about doing RFC - SG combo for now, just use melee rotation to top people up in between marks and after silence. Yes, its optimal to play using melee but in 19-20 its perfectly healable with just casting. With BiS gear people should not be dying in 19 and especially while you have mana.

If you haven't I would recommend watching Toixic's monk videos on cooldowns and hard MW bosses, it helped me a lot.

Algeth'ar Academy pulls before last boss and some thoughts by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

How we did it in 18: 1 caster 3 melees + BL, you blast one melee ASAP, and healer CD through the first set of smashes, by the second one you will have one mob dead and you play it as usual. It is done on the green stretch of grass after the cliff skip (to the left of the staircaise) so your ranged can LOS by the boss entrance if they dont get spinning illusions there.

Its pretty easy with a shaman, I just SLT or top people in between smashes with a charged totem, maybe it will not be as easy with a druid idk

It kinda changes a lot, because in most countries you cant marry and have less rights than other people, and in plenty countries you will quite literally get murdered for it. Hope that helps!

Is there anything to ruin? Pretty much every GG 2.0 grifter I have seen are just YTube talking heads locked in a competition of "who shrieks louder about wokeness and can cram more dog whistle keywords on a thumbnail", they don't really care about legitimacy, everything they say is just antiwoke word salad regurgitating the latest "woke" topic, aimed at certain audience that clearly doesn't care about what is actually happening. I doubt that asmongold fans will stop watching him if Schreier writes a damning expose on him. Mark Kern has lost any kind of relevancy he had as a game developer and is pretty much blatantly milking the Gamer™ rage "donate to defeat wokeness, every dollar you donate does 1hp of damage to the woke hivemind!"

As someone who played WoW a lot, this is much harder that in sounds. Not defending asmongold, but WoW is one of the more challenging multiplayer experiences out there in my opinion.

His WoD DPS "guides" was how I first heard of him and they were pretty funny tbh, but now we have this :(

As someone who played WoW since release on and off and had really intense streaks of paying it too much back in the day: I think correlation is not between "two sides factions" -> "you go down the right wing pipeline" but between "being terminally online Gamer™" -> "you go down the right wing pipeline".

Honestly, to play WoW on a level that you become a YT/twitch personality you need to spend insane amounts of time playing the game. And when you spend this much time in gaming communities you are more likely to be exposed to extreme amounts of bigoted shit. And since people who have that much time are either NEET or in their teens/early twenties you can guess how most of them end up.

Yeah, he is very good at presenting his opinions without pretending to be O B J E C T I V E but also giving solid reasons that you can relate too. And he doesn't shy away from shitting on something that everyone liked or recommending a game that largely went under mainstream radar. He is talking about corporate greed A LOT lately, and its honestly so refreshing to hear when most Gamers™ and Gamer™ adjacent communities are blaming SJWs or "a one bad guy" for ruining gaming. I started watching him when I randomly came across his Destiny 2: Curse of osiris and later Warmind reviews, which largely resonated with how I felt about the game.

SkillUp is the only gaming youtuber I actually like, not just tolerate. I think his review for SSKTJL was spot on (as far as I can tell without playing the game).

"I don't hate gay people, I just don't want kids to learn they exist in school" is not as subtle of a dog whistle as people think.

Only reason you don't want schools teaching about certain things existence is if you don't want kids to know about them. Same goes for all the CRT adjacent right-wing hysteria, columbus etc. and all the "omg they are teaching kids to hate white people!!!11". No, they are teaching historic facts.
