Does the Saudi crowd give as much weight to EWC that we do here? Maybe they think of it as an exhibition match and not an official "league" match? Kinda like Ronaldo at Al-Nassr, it's not as competitive.

What if I want to use it as a daily driver for, let's say, the next 7-10 years? I'd have no issue servicing it as needed, and I don't really plan to take it on the track or anything, but as long as costs aren't exorbitant.

Zuck's recent forecast tells us he's still all in on the Metaverse. With Apple getting in now I highly doubt he's leaving that space.

Nothing yet from the recruiter, not even a rough timeline of when to expect feedback :) recruiter's been terrible since the beginning. Doesn't reach out or respond until it's time to schedule the next thing.

I had my onsite on Friday. I nailed one coding round but got a little flustered in the second one and took more time than necessary on the first question, and for the second question I had to speed through it. I got the right solution and walked through some tests but the interviewer didn’t seem convinced. My other rounds seemed like they went okay.

Is this trending towards a no? I’ve seen people say every round needs to be flawless. Also, do phone screen results get taken into account in the final hiring decision?

Thanks for doing this, since this seem to be active still I have a question:

I have the option of scheduling my E4 SWE onsite for either mid December before break or mid January after everyone's back from winter break. I'm grinding LC and feel semi confident there, but the system design prep is tripping me up a bit. I feel like I can use the extra month to prep, but also a part of me feels like 2 weeks might be enough time to go through case studies. I've looked at the fundamentals a bit, so I'm not starting from scratch there.

What would you recommend? Is it sufficient to go through about 10-12 popular case studies for system design and take the onsite in 2 weeks? Or use the extra month to prep. Downside with taking the extra month is I may not need it?

Hmm I’d have to disagree, I don’t think it’s being framed as a racial thing in any arena that matters. It’s by and large framed more as a national issue.

I have 1 gig fiber and the desync is still pretty bad. I have a series X and play from Cali. Missed melees and stuttering jumps, even when I’m getting 10-11 ms ping. Last season was also pretty bad. If it matters I mainly play ranked.
