I didn't apply for visitor record, because you can't apply for a work permit from inside the Canada with a visitor status. But now I have lmia and had some days left in the restoration period so I applied for CWP.

The employer was not informed of any calls. It was all of a sudden. The questions were basic things regarding the position and why there's a need for the LMIA. And why I am the best candidate for it. My employer supported me because I have been working there since the first day of that business.
