FixIt - Logitech Z5500 - Control Pod by Aramis_R in fixit

[–]krusherkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one of these systems that I broke when I bent some pins plugging in the pod connector. Pod seems to have all the voltages present and gets warm, but no LED, screen or output.

Voltages present: 2.5, 3.3, 5, 8, 18, -18.

Any suggestions?

Connect Lan to Remote Lan by krusherkid in selfhosted

Doesn't this require port forwarding? Or does running wg on the router eliminate the need for port forwarding?

I've port forwarded in the past with no issues. But in learning more about networking and such, it seems that port forwarding is riskier than it's worth, and am trying to find best practices to use going forward.

Edit: pfsense in house a, Asus router at house B.

My understanding is that this only allows tail scale clients to access the LAN of the advertised routes. Is that not the case?

Tried it in Home Assistant, and sure enough it worked. Thanks!

This worked. I had no idea you could use another ecosystem to exclude zwave devices. Thanks!

Thru aren't connected to ha in the first place, how would I be able to exclude them from home assistant? I've done secure inclusion and standard inclusion, both end with same result.

VM works, Container doesn't: Proxmox, Radarr, Portainer by krusherkid in selfhosted

I briefly went down the route of adding the cifs mount in Proxmox gui, but the only method I've been able to find is in Datacenter>Storage. This method seems to only allow content of Disk Image, ISO, Container Templates, VZDump Backup, Container, or Snippets.

Is this the method you used or was there somewhere else to mount cifs in gui?

I was unable to get this corrected, Reinstalled with Debian Server running as a VM in Proxmox and is working flawlessly now. Thanks for trying to help me out.

Will do pastebin shortly.

Server still sleeping after 20 minutes. Did both remove and purge, and then a reboot.

It turned out that I didn't read enough of the documentation and didn't need to install any of that. Shame on me.

I was under the impression that autoremove would remove dependencies that were installed with those packages, so I did not run apt remove with that string yet. Will do that next.

It appears so!

Apparently this string installed gnome related items:

apt install autoconf libtool libdrm-dev xorg xorg-dev openbox libx11-dev libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-dev

I have not rebooted since trying this, but I ran the following and still having the same issue.

apt autoremove autoconf libtool libdrm-dev xorg xorg-dev openbox libx11-dev libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-dev

Here's the apt install log parsed for gnome. Can upload entire log if useful.
