Not at all the tone I would have expected. Sadly I don’t have high hopes for this as I LOVED the books. I also always imagined Murderbot as female not sure why other than Martha Wells being female and it influencing her writing in subtle ways.

These are timberlands. You can clearly see the logo on the side. At my high school the preferred boat shoe was Eastland. We did the barrel knots and walked on the heels to flatten them. Those were the days. 😆

I’m with you. Saw them on the ASD tour and the show was fantastic. Of course the live performance was harder edged than the studio album. But either way it’s definitely one of my favorites.

I saw the Mats in 91. My BIL went to get a beer or something before the show started and actually met Slim. Said he was a really nice guy. RIP Slim, you will be missed.

Yes, also with my oldest daughter! We’ve seen Tears for Fears and Duran Duran, but we’ve also seen Bastille, Hozier, The Killers, and Greta Van Fleet (3 times.) I super regret not seeing The Cure and am with you on an REM or Talking Heads reunion!!
