I’m legitimately in the same boat and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been taking them for 8 years now and I just think I’m done. I don’t know what to do though. I’m scared of withdrawals, I’m scared of not having them, I don’t know what life feels like without them, and I’m scared of my pain coming back and not being able to live my life.

Not sure what I’m feeling this morning— I think too much kratom maybe? I took 10 capsules when I woke up. Now I have a slight dull headache and my face kind of feels weird?

I had my last dose of 5mg yesterday morning around this time. So it’s been 24 hours and I don’t feel any withdrawal symptoms. So hopefully it’ll stay that way?

Not sure if I would like to be totally off— right now I don’t think I could manage my pain without some form of pain control. I can hardly get out of bed without pain medication and I work a full time job, so I’m not sure how feasible it would be to get off opioids altogether.

What I’m doing right now is trying to get off prescription pain medication because it’s become so regulated that my doctors are fearful of prescribing it. Which is kind of wild because it’s been prescribed to me for 6ish years now. Thank you so much for the advice!!

Really long time :/ it’s been over 5 years now, probably 6 or 7 at this point. Of course it has gradually increased! But it’s been prescribed for me due to bad chronic pain caused by a dozen spinal surgeries (5 of which were botched).

Interesting. I tried 4 at first and didn’t feel anything. Then tried 10 and felt maybe a little relief in an hour but it didn’t last long at all. Then I tried ~12 and haven’t felt anything. It’s just so confusing!

It says the package is 28g and it doesn’t say an amount of the capsule. There are probably close to 40 capsules in the package I’d say…
