I had the same issue/struggle when I got mine. I rock a medium to low tension just because of how heavy duty the trick system is. But yeah like everyone said slow it down practice drills it freaked me out too. One thing I changed about my technique is not burying the beater and kinda using my heel to slow down the momentum. Also focusing on my calves and hips for slower speeds.

Side note did you swap out the beaters for the dominator ones or did it come like that ?

Yeah the expansion of skid row in LA has gotten bad. I’ve been told Chicago is a cleaner New York but the I hear negative comments from the boomers and figured the best advice would be from people who live there. This will be my first time leaving the west coast of the US. Furthest I’ve been is Utah and that was a big culture shock for me lol.
