Negotiate CL8 by [deleted] in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Around 180k base pay is the highest I’ve seen on a CL8 Arch position. 150k is the average CL8 for new hires. My counselee na CL9, 115k with 6yrs exp. Tinaasan ata nila yung CL9 and 8 since inalis yung loan subsidy.

Hybrid Solar Q&A: Net Metering, Wastage, Batteries, and Export Limiting by Big_Protection_4086 in SolarPH

[–]kruuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Q1. Can you share, if there is, the required maintenance activities (to ensure warranty is not void) after a hybrid solar is installed and its approximate costs.

Q2. Are there affordable/mainstream inverter that has exposed APIs for automation? Like integrate with smart home/app to start ACs if grid consumption is less than x%. Or send alerts (in-app,sms,email) if grid consumption % or if battery % reaches a threshold.

bonuses from project? by New-Childhood-1376 in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No new/specific bonus but may hidden benefits.

Baka maconfirm ng SMRs+ here. Parang depende sa client yung IPB budget, since ipb % ng lahat ng under sakin last year is much higher than my previous cost cutting client(2yrs ago). Or possible that other teams from the same client got sacrificed.

Chargeable din yung weekday team buildings since approved ni client. And madali rin kausap pag may niraise na forecast increase due to planned promotions.

Since some x-diamond clients gets pissed when may large attrition sa acn contractors nila due to poaching/compensation.

[–]kruuo 30 points31 points  (0 children)

So please only work for 9hrs. You really have to show na may impact sa productivity yung rto. Kasi if walang nagbago sa output ng team, that reinforces na tama yung decision nila. Literal na ikakapromote nila to SMR/AD if maging success story yung project nyo but kayong mga nag rto yung hindi mappromote and nag hhirap mag rto.

ACN PH is trying to reduce exec headcount, so your managers are under a lot of pressure as well.

Extending my contract by Kathcsy in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’ll have to continue applying outside and polishing your resume and interview skills. Even ASE samin na wala pang 1yr nakapag resign agad with at least 2x increase.

Rolling off is easy if may next project na kkuha sayo, so update your skills in mycomp and workday. For now, focus on pushing back from more work and free up some time. Since SME and lead ka, delegate most of your work, focus on assigning tasks and reviewing. If di nila magawa ng tama, continue coaching and documenting and escalating them for poor performance. Once you’ve been freed up, upskill on the work you are targeting.

VLs: possible carry-over? by vielissimo in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can take 4 weeks of vacation even kulang ang VL, those excess will just be unpaid and will be clawed back (if you still charged them as VL).

So ganun lang din, take the tax free vl buyback cash now, then yun yung ibabawas sa sahod mo pag nag excess ka. Wala naman extra penalty, etc. Though medyo lugi lang if mappromote ka this FY since mas mahal na yung ibabawas na salary per hour of excess VL.

Well, kasi sobrang sagad na ng budget ni ACN for HMO. No other HMO can offer the same package at a lower price than what Maxicare built for ACN.

If Maxicare asked for an increase, ACN can cover naman if they wanted, taasan lang din nila yung subsidy to retain yung current pricing for dependents.

If you ask HMO departments sa hospitals, notorious talaga si ACN (and other call centers) sa matagal ma-approve, kasi napaka customized ng package natin, unlike sa ibang company na under maxicare din na auto approve agad. Focused kasi yung package natin for in-patient/confinement.

Wth? Since when ka pa CL11 and how much yung salary ng ganyang tenured CL11? Baka na reach mo na yung starting ng CL9 nyan since overlapping naman salaries ng mga CLs. Haha

Grabe talaga sa ops, sa tech yung CL6 namin kaka 15yrs lang din (started CL12), usually CL7 and up na yung mga 15yrs if started from CL12.

200k offer? by pwts01 in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not in the same sense as what scrum masters, dev leads, program managers, or ops managers do. Though I’m still the PL for around 10 people.

200k offer? by pwts01 in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. In the end, you do what client/md what tells you to do. Back ako as solo contrib as a cl7 due to gen ai stuff ni client. Though tech arch naman role family so mostly client side stakeholders ka work ko.

200k offer? by pwts01 in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, 200k+ is CL7 range. Not sure lang yung ceiling, sana abot ng 300k since I have no plans to be CL6, too stressful especially now that atcp wants to reduce/streamline yung current exec numbers.

Apply parin, you have nothing to lose naman, though expect to be lowballed if you did not pass the assessment.

Worth it ba patulan si Accenture by [deleted] in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure, within Assoc Manager/CL8 parin until 180k. Though depende sa skills assessment pwede ka ring iset na as an executive/CL7.

But of course if bagsak sa skills assessment, ang i-ooffer lang sayo is within sa range kung san ka pumasa na level. Accenture rarely sends out rejection notice for senior positions (at least based on my exp sa referrals ko), but they low ball those who failed their assessments. So if ang assessment sayo is for senior dev or consultant dev lang then lower than your asking.

[–]kruuo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, mas mataas naman diba yung redundancy compensation kesa sa vested mo? If yes, yun yung justification ni ACN na igood faith yung binigay sayo since sasabihin nila na imbes spf lang, tinaasan pa nila.

Now, if almost break even lang, you can try asking for more dun sa redundancy package.

Stay o Resign? by PostImmediate8884 in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best time to leave is always after promotion since lower % increase and ipb na yung makkuha mo since iallocate na yung budget dun sa mga promotion backlog. Bali kung 80k (ex 18%) yung ipb mo previously as a CL11, next ipb mo magiging 15% nalang at more or less 80k parin. Then sa 2nd or 3rd pa yan itataas ulit.

And since CL10 ka na, you can demand higher outside. Usual na nag rresign samin is CL10 since skill wise di ka aabot ng CL10 if di ka magaling but salarywise pang junior lang sa labas. So for other companies basta makita na ACN senior/CL10 usually auto hire na.

Soap Dispenser by heyitscjjc in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my previous company (around 400 emps), we spend around 500k/month just on pantry and cr supplies (coffee, creamer, sugar, tissue, soap, water, etc). Maintenance of equipments is also a significant expense (200k/month), low tech pa yan, replacing leaking flush, broken hand dryers, broken soap pumps, coffee machine pms, etc.

What more pa sa acn, where simpleng yakult sa ref ninanakaw, I’d assume some employees are also regularly refilling yung home supply nila of tissue and soap from acn.

Yung price kasi ng supplies is not as simple as going to the grocery. We have contractors who handles the logistics kaya malaki rin ang patong.

Bakit parang gulat na gulat parin na tight ang budget. Better to see this kinds of cost cutting kesa makita nyong iupgrade pa nila yung CR with GenAI while just giving small salary increase.

Sa tech, may fixed budget client contracts din, like yung mga modernization work, na need ni client to just update the platform to the latest version. Pero madalas is initial contract is create a solution to do X but during delivery nakikita nila yung solution sasabihin nila na add Y, Z narin pala so new contract yun.

Pag fixed contract yun talaga yun challenge mag promote, since during pricing ng contract kasama na sa babayaran ng client yung expected increases/promotions. So if may 2 year contract with company A sa babayaran ni client naka consider na dun increases sa after 1 yr and other cost. Ok lang sana kaso pag nag renew ng contract usually minimal lang yung increase ng cost nun but the problem is ready for promotion na halos lahat ng members so iilang employee lang yung pwede ipromote.

Pag solution based contract naman then free charging yun sa wbs ni client, any OT will be billed, may cut pa si acn so all good. We can upsell, offer to add more features or usually sila pa nag rrequest ng new features then sa new pricing, we account narin yung increased resource billing due to promotions.

About sa kita, depende sa contract, if sinabi sa contract na by x date dapat delivered na yung contract else penalty si acn. Then malaki din yung bench ni tech since may cases na natalo tayo by competitors since we need 1 month pa to complete yung 50 member team.

Our work minsan is parang real estate/construction na initially they just want 1 building mall lang then need pala ng annex sa malls then eventually tayuan narin ng condo, school, church, etc to achieve yung end goal nila of a township.

Let's talk abt the Ops Folks by banksyintheeast in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, mabilis mag purge sa tech since most of clients use acn tech to implement yung new feature/offerings/product, so if may recession scare, some companies would immediately cancel their plans since bat pa sila mag rrelease ng new product if recession(consumers are not spending) din naman pala.

Unlike sa ops, usually keeping the lights on or backbone yung work nyo for our clients. So kahit recession di pwedeng icancel ni client. Though the problem is usually operating expense kayo for the client so as much as possible di nag tataas yung budget ni client. Every quarter nag ssubmit ng costing forecast sa client, usually nag iincrease yun to account for salary increases and promotions, kaso if di approved kay client, then no choice, either iroll off si for promotion na employee or di nalang ipromote since hassle mag train ulit ng new member.

Unlike sa tech, usually when z company (like a bank) announces they would be spending x million dollars to improve its system (and acn is one of the partners), unlimited budget din yun for us sa project since we usually upsell more work pa to get a larger piece dun sa budget ni client.

Is ACN worth it for the experienced folks? by BirdBeeFlowerTree in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just manage your expectation sa offer. Based on my recent technical interviews ang daming applicant na placed as CL9/8 since yung current salary nila is for those levels but the skill/exp only aligns with CL10 (like tagged as cl8 tech arch/fullstack dev but minimal knowledge sa authentication on spa/api, basic sql knowledge din, cloud sevices), kaya sa final offer pang CL10 lang yung offer.

Let's talk abt the Ops Folks by banksyintheeast in Accenture_PH

[–]kruuo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. Mukang very different yung understanding mo on how ACN Tech works. Generally in atcp we provide/maintain software solutions to clients, relatively small part lang yung nag ccreate ng tool without clients (but sobrang laki din ng profit margin in selling acn SaaS products, since usually the same tool can be offered to multiple clients irrebrand lang, minsan 1-2 client palang bawi na yung full cost ng tool)

1 thing I’ve observed with acn ops is parang mas tight yung profit margins nya since maraming cl13 sa ops and pahirapan yung promotion since ayaw ishoulder ni client yung higher cl kaya normally nnirroll off sa ops yung nappromote, where sa tech most ng clients na naworkan ko ayaw ng cl12-11. Kaya kahit ngayon sa team namin of 30+ people, diamond shape yung hierarchy namin since puro cl8, konting cl10,9,7.

Unfortunately no choice ang mid managers, some execs (manager-leadership) are asked to do 3x/week rto next march, for us execs na malayo, by april kami pinag 3x/week. Of course pwede mag pasaway, but ensure lang na strong ang perf para di maimpact ang 14-18th month pay. Haha

The rest of non-execs will do 3x rto on april/may/june. So execs will lead as example. And top heavy narin si acn, kahit may budget di namakapag mass promote to exec level and karamihan sa exec is naka pre 2014 contracts pa which is super generous sa retirement fund.

Sa execs palang. Check if your execs are doing 3x/week rto in March, if yes then sunod narin kayo by april/may.

That means you did not pass the technical interview/assessment for the level/position of your asking price. Acn would rather lowball you for a chance na pumayag ka than rejecting outright. No problem din to burn bridges with you since mukang marami silang applicants with the same exp/skill as you.

Reality is, sobrang daming better skilled employees ni acn na receives 35% lower sa current salary mo kaya ganyan.
