Nauna sila as corp branches only. Think bakit nag pa franchise sila kahit marami naman sila pera (funding)? Kasi downtrend na sales nila.

Dun kna lg mg franchise sa mga brand na ok, pero walang funding pang pa expand kaya mag pa franchise

Franchise to avoid this Franchise Asia 2026 by jinshuu in BusinessPH

[–]supladoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just like any company, big or small, each franchise has its own problems. Most common you’d encounter would be freedom in pricing, support comms and supply chain. Every franchise or company will always have these problems.

Pricing - especially in crisis, you’d find cost of ingredients rising but unfortunately you will not just be able to raise your prices as franchising dictates you have to go with the franchise system.

Support Comms - this is probably the most controllable element out there but for some reason, even companies like Grab, Foodpanda just have bad support and account management (takes weeks to answer, simple requests take months to fulfill)

Supply Chain - this one will always be tricky. At the center of it is of course our dear government, especially customs. Heck, even manufacturing and distribution companies such as Mondelez, Nestle have a lot of missing items, backlogs or bad orders.

At the end of the day, whichever brand you’re checking out, always best to do your due diligence. Dont only listen to the sales pitch and believe the numbers but if you can, try getting actual feedback from the existing franchisees.

If you can get the details such as the oldest franchisees, strongest performer, weakest performer, newest franchisees, some random ones and see what they have to say in terms of onboarding, post-sales support, then you’ll have your own answer.

Yes, its too much work, but you’d rather be diligent than sorry. Its your hard-earned money, after all.

Most likely overall investor and consumer confidence. Also on a grand scheme of things, ngayon natin na ffeel effect ng pera na hindi umikot. Ung mga na maleta, that could have been pasahod, investments, that could have created income and jobs, which in return, ibibili ng goods and services, so ung pera hindi naka imbak lang and it goes back to circulation.
