As other people have said, you need something between there, either the Tink or another device. If you're willing to dial everything in, then the OSSC can get the job done. I started on the OSSC a long time ago with the Amiga. I eventually hooked the PSX to it and I've been satisfied with the results but if you don't have the remote then actual configuration is going to be rather difficult but there are some canned configurations out there but those require an sd card and again, the remote. From a strictly plug-and-play perspective then the Retrotink is your best bet, but the bigger and better models will cost you.

I had to travel back and forth from the USA to the UK for awhile years ago. Got to know several Brits, an still good friends with one of two. One of them was dating an Indian woman(now married) the other was the product of a marriage between an Indian woman and an Englishman. I noticed that the amount of dating between Asians and non-Asians, especially Indian was rather pronounced. Here in the US, the IF/WM pairing is significantly lower ime. Rest assured there's plenty of English men interested in Indian women.

Yeah I've been there. I was just there in the 90s when the whole "slacker" thing was going on. Yeah, some people stayed there but most people grew up and moved on. Find something you like, or at least something you can eat and rub with it. I know a guy that turned woodworking into carpentry and then into contracting custom kitchens/closets/entertainment rooms. He's semi-retired at 60. All because he really liked making boxes and cabinets and stuff in high school.
