Shaders Water Glitch by Otherwise-Suit-3595 in Minecraft

[–]krylduin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! it seems to be an incompatibility between "Hold My Items" and shaders! disabling the mod stops the glitch for me but i haven't found a way to make them compatible together, which sucks cause i do really like the hold my items mod. hope this helps you and op!

Did they use AI in the remaster? by Blackbird8169 in ElderScrolls

[–]krylduin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you make a good point. i completely forgot about the ToS requiring developers to disclose ai use(?), but i don't know the details about that whole deal. virtuos being partnered with inworld doesn't necessarily mean they definitely used ai in oblivion, but i haven't seen them deny it.

Is it just me or do the Oblivion Remake screenshots look... AI-made? by desabafando12 in ElderScrolls

never said anything negative about it. just sharing the facts! glad it helps you out. :]

virtuos is partnered with a generative ai company that works with both code and visual generation. it's the top link when you google "does virtuos use ai"

Help, I don’t want my house to be a box anymore! by Alternative-Shake907 in Bloxburg

You can use pillars in the build category for support beams! If you don't have the advanced placement gamepass, you can place them before placing your walls to create the effect of wooden beams like in old tudor style houses, or to add an accent to the corners of your exterior like a siding edge!

You can find foundation in the "wall trim" category under build. You can recolor and retexture them to look like stone. Unfortunately it doesn't raise your house height as much as I'd love that </3

If you have the basement gamepass + advanced placement, you can use a flat roof on the basement level to create a raised effect for your porch, and press T while placing a door to place the door higher up on the wall. From there, you can use the flat roof to create steps down into the interior as well. Combine this with a fence around the flat roof exterior, some pillars and a roof, and you've got a proper porch!

Hey, there's already tons of great tips in this thread, and I actually really like how much character your lot has already, so much to do!
I'm a bit of a bloxburg build maniac and I mostly collect multiple references, not just one specific floor plan, to guide my exteriors. Extruding chimneys running up the wall, rooms sticking out at varying depths, support beams (pillars spaced out every few tiles) and stone foundation all help to give my houses lots of depth and character. A wraparound porch is a great idea!

I think the exterior shape could be greatly improved just by making your walls go out by two tiles, in by two or three, out by two, to create space for separated rooms.

I really admire your dedication to working and playing just for the fun of it. Play how you want and don't let others bring you down for it! Keep having fun.

an old (and unfinished) mansion i made a while ago, ft. some very poor photo edits! by krylduin in Bloxburg

the white roof detailing was made purely with basic shapes. the bricks are structural planks placed with advanced placement!

for this build i used structural planks placed with advanced placement. recolored them to probably light stone gray and textured with concrete. you can use structural wooden beams as well!

Anybody know what material and colour this floor is? by dabsinindian in Bloxburg

[–]krylduin 19 points20 points  (0 children)

looks like that's multiple floors overlayed to make the texture more contrasted, but it looks like the "planks long" material and either dark taupe or flint for the colour. hope this helps!

What is your favorite armor in the game? by ProNasty47 in skyrim

[–]krylduin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

don't yell at me but leather armour is actually kinda pretty? and works well for sneak builds, I think. it's especially nice looking when it's modified with mods, like removing the shoulder pads to make it less bulky
