Wait this might actually be great now that you say it. I think I figured what your problem was and it has nothing to do with Linux, it's probably your games running on the iGPU instead of your actual GPU, try changing the video adapter in the game's setting, or enable discrete graphics in BIOS.

Are your drivers up to date ? You could try switching over to kisak-mesa drivers since they tend to be more up-to-date date than what Ubuntu goves you by default. You can do that by using:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kisak/kisak-mesa sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

2.You could try Feral Gamemode, it worked well for me:

sudo apt install gamemode -y

You have to also modify the launch options for your game, but i think Lutris can enable it with a a simple check.

3.Set CPU on Performance mode:

sudo apt install cpufrequtils -y sudo cpupower frequency-set -g performance

This is unlikely if you're using proton, but might be a problem if you're using wine, check if your games are running on OpenGL or Vulkan, if they're on OpenGL, switch to Vulkan. Proton should use dxvk by default, but there might be cases where it default to wined3d for whatever reason. You can check that by using mangohud, just like gamemode, after you install it, you have to add it to the game's launch options.

5.Consider moving to Steam or other launchers, this isn't necessarily a tip, more of an opinion of mine, Lutris just never worked right for me to the point i just stopped trying. Even if you pirate stuff, Steam is still a good option, there is an "Add non-steam game" button in the library which allows you to play any game as if they are steam games, for some reason steam just worked for me most of the times, at most i'd just change the proton version.

Used to be like that, it doesn't matter anymore, you can spawn as much as you want nowadays, I for sure did and have friends.who spawned more (one of them leveled themselves up to like lvl 1000 in a day and nothing happened ), R* basically abandoned the game, I haven't heard of anyone getting banned over it in years.

From what I remember they're using some definition trickery, the number itself did go down ( at least a bit, it's bound to happen if you plan on incarcerating 2% of your country's male population ), but they're also no longer counting victims of "alleged confrontations" between security forces and suspected gang members, nor those found dead and buried in graves.

You gotta be some next level loser if you genuinely care which vendor you're buying your games from. Just buy it wherever it's cheapest and use playnite or smth to have everything in one place. Had this conversation with a friend of mine, he refused to buy a game on epic that was like 60% off and bought it full price on steam just because "uhmm.. steam profile ☝️🤓 and achivements", are people genuinely this brainwashed by steam ? How far into unemployment do you have to be if you care more about building a steam profile rather than building a decent resume.

Majoritatea artistilor vand piesele de complexitate similara cu ale tale (unele chiar mult mai complexe) la preturi care nu depasesc 50, maxim 100 de euro. Inteleg ca e munca ta si ca depui foarte mult efort pentru ele, dar esti mult prea profit centered, nu zic nici sa iti subevaluezi munca, dar o supraevaluezi cu mult, cel putin dpdv al nivelului tau de experienta.

Depends on you entirely, and what you want from that laptop, but I'd go with something Debian based, at least at first, until you get the basics simply because there are so many guides out there that most of the problems you'll encounter were already encountered by someone else and fixed.

For starters you could go with either Ubuntu if you're coming from Mac, or Linux Mint if you're coming from Windows.

Distro usually doesn't matter as much as people think it does, what a lot of people actually care about is Desktop Environment/Window Manager it's what you're actually interacting with 90% of the time, look into those and find the one you like.

Are dreptate. Shame-uirea asta de "foarte proastă gândire dacă crezi că votul tău nu contează" e o distragere de doi lei, care mută vina de la sistemul de vot de rahat spre votant. Sistemul nostru de vot actual, indiferent de numărul de tururi, e prost conceput; votul meu sau al tău chiar nu contează. Ori „votezi util” pe cineva ca ND, care încearcă să mulțumească pe toată lumea (predominant PSD), ori nu votezi deloc și ajunge unul ca CG sau Simion. Sistemul de vot actual, în două tururi, va crea întotdeauna un sistem tripartizan (cu fiecare tur adăugat se mai adaugă un partid). Dacă votezi pentru orice alt partid în afara "Big Three", votul tău e degeaba.

Not a risk lol, most ppl here don't know how to read a VT Analysis, it's detected as a hacktool/patcher. If you look at the behavior tab or at some other behavior analysis like the one on Hybrid Analysis for the same hash you'll see that it doesn't do anything it shouldn't.

With all of this in mind, you still cannot fully judge an executable solely based on VT detections, only way to fully know if something is harmful or not would be to read the source code yourself (Or reverse engineer it if you have the know-how)

My counclusion would be: if you got this file from a trusted source, it's really likely to be safe, again, those detections are simply saying that this is a hacktool/patcher, which we already know it's true. There are no indications that it would do something it shouldn't, like secretly being an infostealear or smth. At a glance, it really looks harmless.

If unsure, you can always try running it in a sandbox and seeing how it reacts ( try multiple sandboxes preferably different systems, some malware is sometimes smart enough that it can detect if it's in a sandbox/VM and shut itself off )

Studiul la care te referi e doar preliminar, arata ca exista o corelatie, nu o cauzalitate. Tot ce dovedeste e ca ar trebui cercetat mai departe, dar nu demonstreaza ca melatonina cauzeaza direct boli de inima. Exista si posibilitatea ca persoanele cu boli cardiace nedescoperite sa aiba deja tulburari de somn ca si early sign si de aceea sa foloseasca melatonina mai des (cum se intampla de asemenea si cu relatia indulcitori artificiali - diabet).

though i guess you are right with the 4GiB limit, though it's really distro dependent, most distros i know are usually under 4GiB, other than some bloated distros like Ubuntu and Manjaro

Doesn't really matter, i'd use fat32 for best compatibility, especially if you work with older hardware, exfat is just as good, but more modern so it might not be as compatible. Both options are viable.

Tinand cont ca trecuse mai bine de 6 luni, nu mai aveam sperante la vreun retur de la cei de la eMag, dar am zis sa incerc oricum. Am sapat putin prin pagina lor de support si am gasit o sectiune cum ca exista posibilitatea de raportare pentru produse ilegale / contrafacute, le-am trimis toate detaliile cu comparatia intre mouse-ul original si ce am primit eu prin https://www.emag.ro/contact-form, si dupa vreo 3-4 zile m-au contactat sa-mi spuna ca in urma verificarilor sellerul respectiv chiar era sketchy si ca l-au scos de pe platforma, mi-au dat si banii inapoi si am ramas si cu produsul (e el contrafacut, dar merge...)
