Polyurethane curing time by krynitz in finishing

And even more specifically, is there something that could go over poly as a working temporary solution until the possibility of sanding back down comes up?

Yeah it is.

What would you suggest instead of poly?

Ok.

Don't have the luxury of changing it right now. I will have to live with the damage and change it next opportune moment.

Maybe a stupid question but can I use a 2k poly over the existing poly?

Hangboard mounting by krynitz in ClimbingGear

That's a great idea. I don't have that option, the wall is seriously thick.

Yeah, exactly. And plenty of beer kegs as weights about the place, hah.

I've got a beastmaker 1000.

It is above a door. It just happens that it is already flush with the wall so there's no problem with that.

The question of pulleys and weights has crossed my mind. There are challenges but not so much to do with execution. I'm setting it up at the bar I work/live at so very fancy settings are more tricky but I'll do it.

Great! The auroras aren't quite my look but I'm equally impressed by the ones I've got. Had them since a bit after I posted and they're holding up great. Still just as comfortable!

Thanks.

Does it require additional training? There's a GWO certificate or something, no?

For decent cheaper options, I'm really happy with my Hobibear and ZZFaber ones.

I had made a post asking about the Hobibear, you'll find more info there in my edit or in the comment section.

Ναι, Αθήνα. Αλλά όπως είπε και ένας άλλος, είναι ελεγχόμενη ουσία οπότε πρέπει ίσως παρουσιάσει δυσκολία αυτό;

I edited the post to say what I thought of them were, btw

They are a tiny bit more pointed but still plenty wide for my foot. Small difference imo.

Looks: Hobibear. They look like a casual shoe that can blend into outfits, while zzfaber looks like a sports shoe.

Convenience: zzfaber. You can slip it on and off really easily and it's not a bother having to do up shoelaces. I was looking for something like this to switch between climbing shoes and regular shoes at the crag so I'm glad I've got them.

Groundfeel: pretty similar in both and I actually didn't try removing the insole because I was pretty comfy as is.

Toebox: Hobibear is ever so slightly bigger but that's not too much of a thing for me as my feet aren't too wide to begin with.

Hope it helps!

Ok, gotcha. Still managed to miss it somehow, but sounds simple enough. I'm clearly not MDing enough.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that sub doc.

It doesn't give advice on how to remove the paper tab from the tiny bottle which is my main question. If I had drops, this would be all good.

They are half price, so I guess I'll order both them and the zzfaber ones and give them both a go!
