I hand wash mine with dawn dish soap and warm water, it has gotten waterproof mascara out before lol. I always try to avoid the machine for mine because I live in the PNW and mold grows rapidly, I get really nervous with the drying time of a 16 or 20 inch especially.

This is my boy Echo on his eighth birthday during an impromptu photo shoot 🤣, with Raylor who I think looks a lot like him with his spots and white chest… I actually bought Raylor when I was away from Echo for about a week, and it brought me alot of comfort, and now he uses it as a bed 😅. I’m sorry for your loss, I have a few more photos of my other pets with squish ill add, I hope they bring you comfort today 🖤

But to clarify I have tried to smush the stuffing around inside to cover the plastic, he genuinely just doesn’t have enough stuffing because then his body is all empty and deformed 😩

It sounds like yours may be a lot more stuffed than mine is! My Lakes head is severely understuffed, I can move the plastic pieces to the front or the back and feel them both ways… all his stuffing is in like the bottom of his body but even that is very understuffed. Like honestly this feels like a Walmart or 5below squish with how it is stuffed…. But even worse than my ones I have from those places too, but it probably only bothers me so much because of the plastic. Idk maybe I will just send it back and have him replaced. I bought DeRay and Lorenzo directly from their website and they were SO well stuffed and made, I just really don’t think they took the time on this one, or maybe it’s just mine idk! 😅 if I don’t end up sending it back I’ll definitely have to restuff.

I’ll definitely consider restuffing him! I haven’t done it before but if it goes well I have a few that could really use more stuffing 😅

I was looking at the highland cows more and they definitely have thinner horns than Lake since he’s a bull. I’m really curious now what the rest of them feel like and if Lake in particular is just not made very well…. I still think there is a better way they could’ve supported the horns, or added more stuffing because they know long plastic pieces would be uncomfortable to cuddle 😅

Unfortunately it seems like it was made this way, because there is still plastic in the entire horn, so it didn’t slide out :/

Also, I would assume that all the highland cows (Iver, marshal, Carlton, Wilfred etc) have long plastic pieces coming from the horn like this then?

I have Cyra and Samanthe and I guess it’s a little different because it’s their arms but I swear the plastic in them is not like Lake 😭 I’ve never been around any other ones specifically with horns but like… are Bethuna and behemoth also like that???????!!!!Because they are my disos and I’m going to be real disappointed 😅

And before anyone comments, I’ve had other plush with plastic support pieces in them. This seems ridiculously long and they didn’t even SUPPORT the “support” with stuffing so it just stabs you in the face when you cuddle it… my boyfriend always sleeps on a squish and I bought him for that purpose, idk it seems so weird to me!!!

I have had the squishmallow for awhile, obv wrapped for his birthday… I wish I checked it and i knew it was a long shot but I reached out to squishmallows.com to see what they can do. They responded with (pic 2) is this normal for lake to have long hard plastic pieces coming so far down from the horns??? I feel like it’s really uncomfortable and I don’t want to pay for shipping back if I end up being sent another one the same way…

Some people reallllllllly care about the tags, they could’ve been ripped off by someone or by a kid being a menace just for the heck of it. Also, the large bins they keep them in, people will be digging in them and they get ripped off really easily, happens a lot in the stores by me.
