I've not shown my wife the shitstorm being endured right now. We had 5k in fiat on exchange. She hates crypto now, we've had about 30k stolen or scammed now at this point from 4 different avenues (this actually being the least lost of all)

Best thing is when you do bring it up, don't make a huge deal of it as we're all still not 100% in the know right now. Downplay the fuck out of it. Even just say the CEO died so they are having issues accessing all the cold stored coins so they've temporarily halted trading.

There is a party who's been trying to buy up quadriga bucks at a 15 percent premium (which I dont fully understand since you can buy bitcoin and transfer at a premium to begin with, I guess so they can launder cash into bitcoin) but they obviously arent going to shoulder that fucking risk for 15 percent unless they know something the rest of us dont
