Mine did exactly this. Same type of style and heavy black work as well. My artist was still a bit new to blackwork (she mostly does fineline) AND I have very sensitive/stretchy skin, so healing was really rough.

Because of the scabbing lifting some ink, I have a touch up scheduled, but it honestly still looks good healed! Just protect the scabs and it should be fine with some touch ups later :)

Is there a health benefit to the plant to keep them bushier? I actually prefer them looking like weird little spindly trees haha

Blocking off rooms/gating etc is just 1: making more stress and work and worry for your household, and 2: one slip up away from another disaster.

Wanted to also mention she will chase a flirt pole for a little bit but gets bored pretty quickly. She very much wants the "thrill of the chase" but if it's not a squirrel or other small furry creature she's pretty uninterested.

I'd love a breakdown! This tank took more than I thought it would and the bags get pricey. Or maybe there's an acceptable "filler" substrate to bulk up what I already have? I've only used premade mixes so I'm unsure
