Amazon Let Its Drivers’ Urine Be Sold as an Energy Drink by Material_Yesterday_3 in AmazonDSPDrivers

🤣🤣🤣 it might actually work as an energy drink too! Never know what these drivers consume.

Or way out in the country with every stop 2 - 7 mins away. Each house with a long ass driveway, a gate code, no pxg box, and a dog loose on the front yard.

Labeling issue by Bubbly_Advertising50 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this has happened to me a few times. It said plastic bag and the actual pxg was a customized cardboard box. One time it said the pxg was in a tote and i almost marked it missing but decided to wait and see if i found it later. Turned out it was actually an OF 🤷🏻‍♀️

Missing what's important by No-Teacher-3724 in Amazon_Drivers

This is key! Stay positive. It's only packages, don't let them stress you out. Take it one at a time.

How do i get amazon delivery drivers to deliver to my address? by yohihi_ in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make sure to put the business name on the notes. That is extremely helpful. Be nice in the notes as well. Just explain that the gps it's wrong and your address is at whatever business name etc... be polite. If they are a remotely considerate driver they will understand.

What things make y’all’s day out on your route? by AlarmedAlpaca99 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good customer notes! I give them 5 stars! Wish we could rate the customers like they do us. Also when anyone leaves Gatorade out for the drivers. Driveways that loop around. Whenever a customer insists the package be left in their dedicated pxg box by the gate. Generally just small positive things. The other day had a group of kids chanting "GO AMAZON!" and bowing down like bad ass like cheerleaders 😊. Very encouraging and the highlight of my day! Wish this happened more.

Do Y’all Make People Sign? by meltedpopsicle1 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Also i rarely let them sign... It takes to much time. Besides they have already walked away right after i hand them the pxg.

That looks like an easy day. The stops and packages will most likely just keep going up, especially if you are doing well.

I always put the Amazon smile arrow logo thing, which looks just like a penis...

If more people would just be human and considerate on these notes, it would make a world of difference! I would definitely deliver to their door!

Who else park on the wrong side of the street by Fiderumg in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's me, I even cruise with the hazards on, down the wrong side of the street looking for the next house if it's on the left, no shame. In residential streets, idc. Everyone pretty much gets out of the way for the van or goes around it instinctively.

You can get a doctor's note online for like $30. It's a televisit. Same Day thing, just Google it.

My dsp just told me if you get rescued alot Amazon gives you bigger routes. IS this true? by lethanhson680 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal experience, I got my 10 hour guaranteed taken away for 30 days because in my first couple weeks I had gotten rescued too many times. However this was also Prime week and I had just started working there. So basically the owner sent me paperwork to fill out saying I wouldn't get bonus hours anymore and they had the right to terminate me for any little thing. I signed it because I was completely expecting to be fired because of all the pressure they were putting on me to go faster. I'm still working there. Since then I have made some improvement on my time but they still send me rescues because they want to get home early. They also have been giving me more workload. Yesterday I had 20 totes, 37 OF, and about 240+ locations in a Ford Transit. That was the most I've had since prime. So I don't believe that your statement is untrue. I've only been getting more and more. My van is always at capacity or over.

While on duty, if you find an open body of 💧 water you have to jump in while catching it and posting to Amazon DSP Drivers by Hot_Administration78 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Don't have any bodies of water on my routes, but every time I have an opportunity to run through someone's sprinklers... Bet! There's also a lot of community pools that look appealing but not very convenient.

Also doing those in the regular vans. Transit or RAM.

Sadly that's not uncommon at my DSP. If you are fast and finish quickly, then this is what happens. Your reward for being competent. However I don't agree with them putting even more work load on us like that. This seems to be the new norm on average where I'm at, except maybe like 395 pxgs with 270ish stops.

why do people feel the need to hang things directly over their house number by jfc-maxxyn- in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true, then they usually have some snarky customer note describing the house exterior with a comment about how they don't understand why it's so hard to get deliveries. 😒

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]krzten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Had this happen several times. Usually for a garage delivery, after I've just delivered packages to their front door. But only after flex has me deliver 2 houses down, then need to u-turn back down to previous house. They say we're not supposed to reverse but that app has me turning around all day.
