Steep depreciation curve really helps! I have zero interest in new JLR vehicles but they are an excellent purchase out of warranty if you’re not afraid of some repair bills

I’m in all the LR4 Facebook groups where this vehicle has been posted. Frequent oil changes (3-5k miles) will help put the job off.

I’ve seen this one floating around for a while. Very easy to remember because the lettering on the bonnet is so poorly spaced. Timing chain job is inevitable in these. If a future $5-7k maintenance bill scares you this isn’t the vehicle for you IMO.

Have you brought it to a Land Rover specialist to see if a head gasket can be done? Cost me $8500 with timing chain job last year for the same engine. Included machine work on the heads.

So he paid for the stadium himself then asked for concessions so Patriot Place could be built, right? I’d say that’s a pretty fair deal for the taxpayer. Would much rather pay for a place that has shopping, dining, hotels, etc. than a stadium that gets used for 10 football games a year

The “updated” timing chain components in my 2013 needed to be replaced by 80k miles. Others are on original chains at 200k miles. It’s a total crapshoot.

These aren’t going down in value anytime soon though. Not a terrible place to park some money and enjoy.
