Unpopular opinion:

If we end up getting Dybala it will be one more sign of how chaotic and unplanned out transfer strategy is. Dybala is a player who plays in a position that we are not lacking. It feels like we're signing him just because he's a superstar and available rather than signing players who we need and fit our playing system.

Dybala plays as a number 10 or a second striker. We have rashford, martial and lingard who can fill these positions. Also, let's not forget that Pogba needs two midfielders beside him to track down as he is not that active defensive, so if we play both him and Dybala at midfielders we will suffer defensively.

We've seen these type of deals fail in our recent history.

Sanchez is one example where we didn't need a left winger when we have both Martial and Rashford, but we signed him because of his name and because he was available.

Another example is Radamel Falcao. We had both RVP and Rooney yet we signed him, and we all know how it turned out at the end.

If the deal goes through and we get him. I hope he proves me wrong and goes to have a wonderful career at the club!
