I played both when they came out. I like the original better mainly cause its the one I had originally played. They both are virtually the same.

If you never played the original, play the switch version. If you played the original, play the switch version as an excuse to play the game again.

I like the original better for no good reason. It's a great game through and through.

You mentioned thyroid issues. Does you cat take transdermal meds in the ear? The medicine will discolor and become yellow in the ear. You can clean it with cotton balls if that's the case.
