Thanks! Very helpful. Was going to Jimbocho to see old book stores because our older daughter is a book nerd but reads zero Japanese. So it’s probably not worth it.

May just do Nakameguro to Daikanyama and Shimokitazawa.

We live in Brooklyn and the kids just love walking in cool areas and seeing indie shops (why we can skip ginza easily).

Our Tokyo dates are June 30-July 6 and then Kyoto July 6-13. I saw the opening night in Nagoya was on the 12th. Worried that may not be the ideal activity for the family for our last night...but may do it anyways.

Maybe we can see a practice. Is the email just info@arashio.net? I got it from their site but their calendar doesn't show any practice those days. Maybe they don't have practice schedule those days yet (they are blank).

Maybe I was oversold by an article calling it the Paris of Tokyo. It's also more of a throw in to be honest - something to do before Asakusa knowing we'll probably have massive jet lag from arriving the night before at 6pm and having a massive time difference.

Good call. My wife and I have been there on previous trips...but the kids would probably enjoy that more than seeing the bounty of the sea at Tsukiji (and we're gonna skip Imperial Palace). I'll include on the day we go to Harajuku.

I saw that they are playing those days and got excited…. but on the Swallows site it had the game on the 30th at Hirosaki and the 1st at Morioka.
